Drip N Scoop: A Casual Year-Round Option for Coffee, Donuts, and Ice Cream

If you're looking for a place to grab a cup of coffee, a donut, or some ice cream, Drip N Scoop is a casual year-round option that specializes in all three. Located in Ocean City, New Jersey, this coffee shop, donut shop, and ice cream shop offers a variety of gourmet donuts, ice cream flavors, and hot and cold coffee drinks.

The atmosphere at Drip N Scoop is inviting, with wooden tables and rustic decorations. The staff is friendly and attentive, and the service is fast. However, some customers have complained about the service, saying that the employees were on the phone or not paying attention to the customers.

As for the food and drinks, opinions are mixed. Some customers rave about the donuts, saying that they are otherworldly and come in a robust variety of novelty flavors. Others, however, have complained about the quality of the donuts, saying that they were dry, cold, and stale-tasting. Some customers have also complained about the coffee, saying that it was burnt or watered down.

On the other hand, many customers have praised the ice cream, saying that there are so many great flavors to choose from and that the quality is excellent. Some customers have also praised the milkshakes, which come in any ice cream flavor that is currently being served.

Overall, Drip N Scoop is a decent option for coffee, donuts, and ice cream. While some customers have had negative experiences, others have had positive experiences and have praised the food and drinks. If you're in the area and looking for a casual spot to grab a sweet treat, it's worth giving Drip N Scoop a try.

We really enjoyed this place. You can tell they put a lot of thought into curating a place not only with really good ice cream and donuts but also with a welcoming vibe. I am certain this place will become part of the annual stops on vacation from here on.

Thick milkshakes come in any ice cream flavor they are currently serving. Staff was very courteous despite the chaos which a group of 7 brings. Prices are incredibly reasonable.

This place wins on all levels. The décor is inviting, the coffee is great, and the donuts are amazing. Haven't tried the ice cream, but I'd imagine it's great too.

I am an avid coffee drinker, and have been for almost fifteen years. In that time, I have had countless cups of coffee, ranging from incredible to absolutely dreadful. My fiancée and I visited Drip N' Scoop late last week, while on vacation. I (foolishly) assumed that they could properly make a simple iced coffee (for her) and correctly brew a sixteen-ounce drip coffee, black, with a single shot of espresso (for me).

I was grossly mistaken.

After paying their ridiculous prices, we drank our coffee. Upon sampling her iced coffee, it was somewhere between "absolutely dreadful" and "immediate buyer's remorse." My own coffee was FAR worse- either the coffee itself, the espresso, or both were burnt to an unbearably bitter crisp. However, I drank my coffee (grudgingly), not wanting to waste my money.

This was my second mistake.

My fiancée discarded her iced-coffee, half-drunk. As it would turn out, she was the smart one. Not ten minutes after finishing my abysmal coffee, I was experiencing significant gastrointestinal discomfort. I will spare the particulars, but will note that a mandatory detour was made, immediately, to soothe my upset stomach.

While it may have "just been one bad cup," in others' opinions, I am wholly convinced that this establishment thrives on the tourists' need for a caffeine fix, and sells their horrid product at the highest possible price merely because they can. I will NEVER be returning to their business for even a drop more, and would urge you, who reads this, to avoid this shop as well.

Got there when some donuts were coming out fresh. Got a lemon poppy and it was the right amount of sour and sweet. Yum! Also had a mocha latte, no whip, and had a hint of sweetness on the top thanks to the barista. Love coming here every time we’re down in OCNJ for a great cup of coffee (they serve Counter Culture) and delicious and creative donuts.

Went there at 9:30 on a Saturday. They close at 10:00. No coffee, no brownies, no waffles. Throwing donuts away right in front of us. If you want to close at 9:30 that’s fine just let everyone else know

Best baked goods I've had in the city, always fresh and delicious. The decor is crisp and simple, but in no way boring. I have different taste in ☕, that is the only reason it isn't 5 🌟.

Are there other places in OCNJ that sells donuts, yes? If I was driving down the road in my truck in the snow and my truck was running fine and the drip N Scoop truck broke down, would I stop and help them, yes? These donuts are all time classics, please do yourself a favor and if you want to eat a donut while you are here, get these. Do not stop until you have one.

One of our many favorite little spots on the island. We order the nutella donut and chocolate ice cream and we are able to share it between 2 of us!
