Fractured Prune Donuts - North Wildwood

I liked this place but the doughnut itself (before the toppings) is too sweet for my tastes. Once everything else gets added, it's just too much. It's nice to have more homemade options like this on the boards though. At least it's not another t-shirt store

I have a Federal Donuts a few blocks from my office, so I''ve had my share of warm donuts and fancy donuts. This place came recommended, so we rode our rented bikes up from Wildwood Crest, past the Dunkin Donuts to see what they had to offer. It was a few weeks pre-season, so the service still had a few kinks, like my 80 cents in change came in nickels, but what do you expect?
I started off with one of the breakfast sandwiches and then topped it off with the Reese's peanut butter cup warm donut!! I highly recommend a visit to this unique shop during your stay!

Love the donuts. Especially the Plain Jane. You may think that it’s not good because it’s plain, but trust me...it’s amazing. Awesome flavor. All of the donuts too.

We got their Bay Breeze iced coffee, it was amazing! And chocolate covered cherry donuts, made fresh! Kids loved them! Great spot!

Had to wait 30+ minutes for our food. Cashier messed up our order and employees were flirting in the back. In the confirmation process, there wasn’t a choice where we COULDN’T give a tip. Horrible service. Don’t go here, unless you’re willing to spend the entire day there waiting. I can see why they’re called “Fractured Prune”, because it’s pathetically accurate. smh.

So cool. Amazing basic donut topped in dozens of ways, made to order. Great people!

I ordered two mint donuts and they were just plain donuts with icing and chocolate chips. They didn’t even taste as good as a boring plain donut. Didn’t even finish one of them between two people.

These donuts are insane! We tried a whole bunch and eat one was better than the previous. I had a sausage egg and cheese on a French toast donut...it was ridiculous. We'll be back next summer for sure.

Best donuts easily on the East Coast. It even beats Krispey Kreme. If your not here to go the Carnival I don’t know what your doing lol.
