I'm not sure if I just stopped in on a bad day today but the coffee was horrendous. It is way overpriced at $3.00 for a 16oz cup to begin with, but it was particularly bad due to it being very weak and lukewarm. To top the whole underwhelming experience off, it was completely self service like you would find in any run of the mill bagel shop, Quick Check or NY corner deli just minus the good tasting coffee. That is all.

Their single origin Brazil espresso tasted yummy in our perfectly textured latte. Easily the best coffee we’ve ever bought to get free wi-fi. As a bonus, they offer fresh daily doughnuts from Dough, Brooklyn. Very friendly and helpful baristas.

I went there around 8am. The service was rude and the coffee was overpriced -the self serve -large coffee from the pot was $3.. not warm enough.. very disappointing

You guys are lying to sabotage my review. I was there with my boyfriend on Friday in the morning before going to Shoprite.
We have the receipt for two large of cup of coffee.

Update:

I am disappointed with the pathetic attempt to discredit my review.

Absolutely amazing coffee and tea selection, service is so friendly and super knowledgable on all the coffee and tea varieties. Environment is cozy and very welcoming to relax and spend some time just hanging out. Definitely will be back, fantastic experience!

Neighborhood gem serving coffee, baked good and other treats. Conveniently located in the Hoboken Madison St neighborhood, this cafe is open 7 days a week and serves up coffee with a smile. Recommended to stop by and support your local small business. Service is friendly and prices are very fair.

The coffee is great, and the shop is very clean and cute. Staff has been very friendly and responsive to concerns when there was a mix up with business hours. I would recommend Jefferson's to anyone who is in the area!

My husband stopped by to pick up some pastries and the man behind the counter was quite rude. We like to support small businesses all around Hoboken but we won’t be back to this one.

I can't decide which location is the best one, the location across from the Hoboken Shoprite or the one on Washington Street also in Hoboken. The owner is a gentleman and a real coffee head, so you'll get amazing coffee and super service.
