Scout's Coffee Bar + Mercantile

I was just made a perfect Cortado with oat milk. Not an easy feat.
Vegan burrito was delicious! Had a lot more flavor than typical for vegan burritos I’ve had.
Very nice vibe and exceptionally pleasant people.
PS: Great place for our Shiba to relax outside after Columbia Trail hike!

Scout's is a hidden gem!! Stopped here on our way home from the city one weekend and fell in love with it. They have fantastic oat milk lattes, many using house-made syrups. They also have some breakfast-lunch food items. My fiance and I tried the breakfast burritos and loved them. They also have some delicious scones and other baked goods. The baristas are friendly and helpful! I highly recommend you try it.

Friendly staff and nice atmosphere, it's the local coffee shop in town.

Edit - I've been going back with my son often enough to get a better sense of the place. Worth the full 5 stars, one of my favorite spots to go when I can get out.

Great Food. I grabbed a burrito from their case, and they warmed it up over the Panini Machine and served it with homemade honey-chipoltle hot sauce

Such a great little shop. Good espresso, friendly crew, a nice selection of vegan baked goods🖤🖤🖤 and a sunny little patio out front. Can’t wait to return.

Super cute coffee shop, nice to see a woman owned/LGBTQ friendly/young people friendly small business in High Bridge! Hopefully more businesses like this come into downtown :)

They have great coffee plus a bunch of cool stuff for sale like vinyl records, High Bridge/Columbia Trail merch, mugs, and more.

My one piece of advice to the owners...make a shirt/sweatshirt that has the Scout coffee logo, but also says "High Bridge, New Jersey" and "est. 2016" or whenever it was founded. I bet you'd sell a lot.

Scouts is the heart of High Bridge. Great coffee and even better company. I’m a huge fan of their breakfast burritos and their caramel lattes. They have great selection of unique gifts and greeting cards too!

Super cute! The coffee was a bit "bright", but I love their teas, lemonade and fancy toast they have on weekends. I've been back here a bunch of times and really love it!
