I’m not one to drink coffee, but enjoy getting work done in coffee shops. Usually I’ll get a different beverage or food item while I work. Which was my intention when visiting Hardy’s, but Rob was so kind and and knowledge. He was very excited to discuss their offerings, I decided to go with one of his suggestions.
He taught me a bit about your espresso and your sourcing of beans in a way that helped me appreciate the craft more. I tried a sample cup of the Ethiopian on tap and opted to try the signature woodsman! I was blown away!

Great vibe! Great experience! Great Bar! Great Staff! Thank you!

Delicious 😋

Coffee is always on point and made perfectly. I will go out of my way to get a cup or buy a bag of amazing whole bean to take home. The batistas are always kind, friendly, conversational and you never feel uncomfortable.

Highly recommend it's one of the best lattes in the state of NJ! I go to a lot of places and it's can't miss coffee.

I just went there today for the first time. The place is really cool and although a bit hidden worth finding. I found it to have really good coffee. I only drink my coffee black so I liked this brew they have very much. I also thought that the guy there who was the manager was nice and seemed to enjoy his work and the customers that come in. If in Flemington, it is worth checking out and grabbing a coffee or something at.

Super cute place with great coffee drinks, pastries, and service! We would definitely become regulars if we didn't live out of state.

Attention to detail, extremely clean and cool vibe at this cozy coffee shop. I only stopped for a quick cup of joe, but the pastries and treats looked amazing. I shall return!

This quirky little shop sits on a side street in Flemington (right off the main drag). It looks like someone's house and feels like home. Once allowed in (The door is by default locks as they have this membership thing I’ll explain later) I was greeted by the Barista/Manager, Jack. Their menu is limited, simple and delicious.
I ordered a single shot espresso ($3), the light roast. It was described as being lightly roasted with a hint of apricot and other stone fruits. It was silky, didn’t leave a heavy espresso taste, and was BURSTING with apricot. It was definitely the best espresso that I’ve have in my life. All their coffee is roasted in house in small batches from sustainable and FairTrade farms.
My second drink a little later was a tart, summer, and refreshing green tea drink ($5). This one was great as well and really rounded out my first drink.
As I sat there and worked on reading a book I had brought, Jack refilled the water that came with the espresso multiple times, was attentive but let me do my own thing. Shortly after, a younger man came in and Jack greeted him like family. He was excited to have this person back into the shop and he was intently listening to the stories of his travels. It was a heartwarming experience, as it seemed like the young man was an employee, which to me made it feel like a home rather than a place of work.
They do will under pressure as well. The shop was bombarded by 7 starving bicyclists suddenly and they all got served pretty quickly.
They have food, which is from Parchment & Co Bakery right down the road. I ended up having a chocolate croissant, which was pretty good.
Now, on to the “membership”. They offer a $9 membership which gets you 5% off food items (I think), access to a “members only” menu, and a little Dachshund keychain tag. Next time you show up, you scan the keychain tag at the door and it announces your name, and unlocks the door.
Overall, definitely an awesome, friendly, delicious experience that I strongly suggest you visit if you’re in town.

This place is fantastic! Delicious locally roasted coffee. The owner's brother was making the drinks and helping us. He was so nice and helpful. He had so much energy and such a good vibe. He took such precision making our latte and cappuccino, we were impressed. We love local coffee shops and seek them out. We live 25 minutes away, but were in the area. We saw the place as we drove by a few days ago. I will definitely drive here again, just because the staff is so friendly and the coffee so good!

Stopped in for a warm beverage while in the area and it was not to disappoint! After being buzzed in, I was pleased to find such a nice and cozy atmosphere. The design and ambiance was superb. I placed an order for a Chai tea with vanilla and it arrived to my table with a glass of water. Not ever being served water with a tea before the hostess explained that the water was to clean your palette before drinking the beverage. This was so you’re getting the full flavors from their drinks. The chai tea with vanilla was absolutely delicious and the perfect temperature, not extremely hot and not luke warm either. I was hit with a sweet vanilla flavor up front while the spices of the chai followed behind. I was so pleased with the drink that I ordered another to go. Hardy’s offers a year membership card that gives you the opportunity to come into the coffee shop without being buzzed in and discounts on your order! If you’re looking for a cozy, relaxing place that serves beverages that are beyond satisfying; look no further than Hardy’s Coffee Bar! Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed!

Great experience with amazing coffee. I had the cereal milk latte with almond milk. Captain crunch is used. It was delicious. The owner is extremely welcoming. The place is beautiful. Excited for the new food items that will be added to the menu 😋
