Taste of coffee is amazing. Ambiance is really good. But the new sizes such as medium seems to be small cup and charges are the same. Medium and large sizes for mocha should have different number of shots of espresso cause they are two separate sizes.

The coffee is some of the best in the area, way better than Starbucks or anything you might be drinking. The owners and staff are always pleasant and beyond helpful. If you haven't been there, get your life together and go.

I love Turnstile Coffee Roasters! The coffee is uniquely superb, the atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable, and the owners are very nice. If you want to just relax or do work, its the perfect spot to be.... while enjoying amazing coffee!

Lively coffee shop, plenty of parking and good coffee!

I use the Coffee Hound in Bloomington, Illinois as the ultimate benchmark for excellent coffee when I rate other coffee shops...it's a level rarely achieved. This coffee shop has excellent decor, great marketing, and friendly staff. The LaMarzocca Espresso machine is the very same model I learned on. The espresso is good, and allow me to qualify that. It tastes like it was brewed perhaps too quickly, is slightly over-roasted, for me, and has a bit of an after taste. The roaster informed me that they did in fact start roasting the beans darker, just shy of city-plus. It is, however, very enjoyable. The baked goods are excellent. Latte art was good. The price was a bit high but it is the east coast. $15.46 for two baked goods and two lattes. 4.5/5

Plus, it's owner operated/run so you are supporting a small business. Try it once & you'll see why customers drive out of their way to make it their neighborhood spot.

Regular customers there. Arrived at opening on a Saturday. Cold hard home fries which were obviously saved and refrigerated from the day before. If reheated they would have been cement. Waitress gave us plates with "fresher" ones that were lukewarm. Go to the Allenwood General Store for the freshest best breakfast you'll ever have!

The best coffee there is! Also one of the cleanest operations. Only negative is I can't walk away without buying a pastry to go with my coffee. Everything here is great!

Unique spot. Limited selection of dark roast coffee, but plenty of medium roast coffee to choose from. Slow pour coffe is usually the best, but I felt my coffee was a little bland. I will try again. Staff was pleasant abd helpful.
