Lovely place with good food! We stopped by for a quick bite and weren't disappointed. I had scrumbled eggs with veggies and avocado toast. They also made a pretty good decaff latte and served it in a beautiful cup. We got a chance to chat with the owner, he made sure that we were satisfied.

An amazing update to a historic Lancaster location. This spacious, friendly cafe serves a variety of healthy food options, fresh baked treats, and superb coffees with a personal touch. Come for the coffee, stay for the conversation, all while enjoying the sights of an ever-evolving small town Main Street. Finally, an alternative to big doughnut and a chance to give back to the community. Don't miss The Granite Grind!

First time there. Did not have any expectations as we were not familiar with the menu. Just decided to stop in as we needed some lunch. Not disappointing at all. Fresh healthy food with homemade bread. Delicious sandwich served with salad greens and cranberries. It was yummy. Clean and bright environment. Anxious to go back but not on Sunday or Monday as they are clossd.

We stopped on our way back home today and it was amazing! While waiting for our order, I chatted with the girl at the front. Such a small world to find someone a couple hundred miles from home that was from the same area! Great conversation and fabulous breakfast!

Update in response to the owner's reply: Where is your accountability? The bottom line is that I paid for a product that you offer, and I received something that was unsatisfactory and not made as advertised. And, FYI, a Grande at Starbucks is a medium. My French Bulldogs are named Venti and Trenta, so I don't need to be educated, thanks. Again, you would not be selling lattes for $6 if Starbucks hadn't paved the way for your small business, so perhaps you should write them a letter thanking them, and learn how to make a proper latte. Your lack of customer service skills are exemplified in your defensive response to my review. Enough said.
After reading the great reviews, I stopped in while passing through town. First, the service was haphazard and disorganized; there was a lot of confusion. Their large lattes are only 16 ounces, but that is the case with many smaller coffee shops, so I won't hold it against them. They do not offer nonfat milk or sugar-free syrups. My order was taken by someone who appeared to be the owner, then she passed me off to a younger girl who clearly had no idea what she was doing. There was one other patron in the cafe, and I still waited 20 minutes for two lattes to be made - absolutely unacceptable. Once I left, we discovered the lattes tasted plain horrible. One was supposed to be maple and one vanilla. We couldn't tell which was which, and they both tasted bitter and unflavored. We were so disappointed. The kicker is that their prices are high, similar to Starbucks, which would be fine - I LOVE Starbucks; they are the gold standard. A lot of these smaller places don't like to hear that, but the fact of the matter is they wouldn't be in business if Starbucks hadn't done it first. And, if you charge prices like theirs, you'd better be making a good latte. This place failed, and I will not be back.

Great ambiance, quick service, friendly staff, and fantastic food! All the bread is made in house and they use a locally roasted coffee, so it's super fresh.
We'll definitely be frequenting Granite Grind.

Granite Grind is my favorite coffee shop in the area! Always get friendly service and fantastic food. I enjoy both their breakfast and lunch menus, and love their willingness to adapt to special requests. Check it out!

Pretty darn good! I got some breakfast from here and it was fairly basic. Not fantastic but not bad either. Where this place truly shines is their pastries and other bakery goods. Definitely reccomended the bakery.

Super huge and tasty breakfast sandwich! Ate half for breakfast and the rest during my hike. Delicious homemade bread, toasted and buttered with two eggs, plenty of bacon, and super melty cheese!

It took a while to get our food. We ordered two burritos and found out they only had enough stuff to make one. That was 15 minutes after purchase. I’m sure others have had success here. Not the best first impression. I might try again?
