They did an amazing job on my daughters second birthday party. The cake, the cupcakes and the Brigadeiros were a hit on her birthday, everyone loved including myself. I love their products, they are very unique and tasty. I would definitely recommend!!!!

RUDE & UNPROFESSIONAL TWICE IN A MONTH!!!!!

I have family visiting from overseas. I took one member for 'my brigadeiro' experience. I was looking for a small cake but it wasn't available, so I asked the weight of the cake (5lbs, 7lbs etc.). The owner overheard my question that I was posing to the employee. Instead of answering me, she made faces (I could see as she and others there were not wearing masks), got rude and rushed towards me aggressively. She said "our cookies weigh 100gms or more". I told her I was asking about the cake weight (it is how you decide how heavy the cake is and how big of a piece you want). Then she said "it's been a busy day" and told the employee to "give him a cookie" which was also not given! The cookie is not an answer for misbehavior.

I let it pass the first time as well. Just a month ago we had a small family function and wanted a themed cake for it. The owner said it won't be possible because of time constraints. But she was quoting themed cake price for a non-themed cake for just changing the color of butter cream. On politely discussing that "we are not going for a themed cake now but just changing the cream color" she got rude, pressed computer keys harder in frustration, stopped answering our questions, went away and another employee ringed us out.

I had heard good things about this place but my experience has been the worst. If I were to rate them on a 0 to 10 scale, I would rate them "negative, <0". Totally spoiled my and hence my family's mood on both occasions. Stunned at their behavior - NEVER GOING BACK there again!

I COULD NOT FIND A WAY TO REPLY TO OWNER'S RESPONSE AND MAKING FALSE CLAIMS, SO I AM ADDING MY REPLY HERE:

Just don't mix blame and sorry together. My words are not untrue but yours are. I'll explain the reasoning here and reply step-by-step to your accusations.

First: No, you were NOT WEARING MASKS. Please go ahead and check the security footage for November 25, 2020 afternoon. You, the salesgirl and the guy who wrote on the cake were not wearing masks at that time. THIS IS A LIE!

Second: When my wife and I showed up, it was 4:55pm. First thing we asked, "we know we are late, can we still discuss a cake theme or should we come back another time?" and you literally said, "don't worry about time, we usually accommodate our customers". Then the next sentence from my wife's side was, " thank you so much. We love your cakes, brigadeiros and always use this bakery for special occasions". Then, you spent 15 minutes, not 30 with us. YOUR ACCUSATION IS BASELESS. YOU APPROACHED THE SITUATION VERY VERY COMBATIVELY INSTEAD. I AM SHOCKED AT YOUR CONSTANT LIES THROUGHOUT THE RESPONSE. My wife was quite polite and discussing the options. You tried nothing but made faces when you quoted a themed cake price for just changing the color of butter cream that you use on a normal cake. I did not see you trying to make a conversation and healthy discussion, leave aside making us happy. You were even mumbling something with the salesgirl in another language. How rude and unprofessional! . And then you just ran away aggressively and salesgirl checked us out. The only reason I came back second time on another occasion was to give you another chance that you blew away as well. I AM ASHAMED OF USING YOUR BAKERY FOR OUR OCCASIONS. WE DON'T TOLERATE DISRESPECT.

Third: You interfered for no reason. I was just asking the weight of the cake and I was polite as usual. You got aggressive again and rushed towards me and made faces again. Keep your frustration to yourself. Writing frosting is not a favor, it is your job and I am paying for it. Everyone is busy, not just you. That doesn't mean you offer a cookie after all this misbehavior marathon. (Even the cookie was not given! - just to tell you how sorry you felt!)

Yes, the experience was the worst.

Wrapped my cookies so I could fly home with them. Very cool!

Very friendly, polite service, in a very chic setting. The Brigadeiros, a Brazilian candy confection with endless variations, are really good, but the rest of sweet and savory offerings are also excellent, especially the chocolate cake, the pavès, and the passion fruit mousse. The merveilleux, a very delicate chocolate pastry, are outstanding. They also have delicious savory pastries, and some really good chicken fritters.

Covid has hit this place hard. Now they WEIGH the cake you buy, so they can charge more. Totally absurd. They cut you the largest slice they can too knowing they’ll be able to charge more. Will pass next time. Cake wasn’t that great to justify higher than NYC prices.

The best pastries in Hanover. I enjoyed the chocolate cake and the flan. The place was very clean,

$140 for probably the worst and driest cake I’ve ever eaten. Rip off, not even worth $10. Chocolate balls are good, but still wayyy overpriced

I usually go for the cortado and cappuccino brigadeiro. Occasionally, I'd take a sandwich.

These delicacies are just that...deilicious! Not only do we enjoy them, but we enjoy giving them as well. They make a wonderful hostess gift instead of just another bottle of wine. And every time we look there is another exceptionally tasty flavor to savor. Can't say enough good things.
