Dozens of pour over options and plenty of delicious pastries. If the space feels cramped and noisy it’s because it’s full of life; not something to give a cafe 4 stars over. Love those reviews...the Dirt Cowboy does a fantastic job with what they have to work with. It’s a great community spot and plenty of room for conversation.

I used to work here. And yes the coffee is the best in town. In fact a coffee is the best in New Hampshire. the only negative that I can find is that the owner treats his employees like they are less than anybody else. the staff is surely mistreated. the coffee is roasted by the owner. And the pastries and snacks are all homemade fresh right downstairs from where the coffee is served. if your female looking to work for this guy, watch out. If you're looking to get a cup of coffee everyday, this is definitely the place to go!

Great service, great food, amazing coffee. Try the Ethiopian Harrar - you won't regret it. Everything is brewed pour over to order! I haven't tried the espresso yet but I'm sure it's great as well

Once a wonderful place, but now quite unimpressive. They purport to focus on the quality of their fresh roasted coffee served in glass mugs, but often deliver flat-tasting coffee in paper cups with grounds or bits of bagel seeds in them. Poorly designed space is cramped during anything more than the mid-morning lull, and brick walls with no acoustic dampening make it difficult to hear, especially when their juicer or blender starts up. With plenty of other options in town, I'd avoid the Dirt Cowboy.

Love the chocolate chip hazelnut cookies. Fresh, perfectly sized, not too sweet or too chocolately. We also love the rugelah, hazelnut biscotti and mushroom quiche.

Very crowded on a Saturday morning, but the iced coffee was good and I was glad to find a local shop offering soy milk! We had a croissant with strawberry jelly that was delicious.

Great cafe, with excellent coffee. Service is solid. The food and pastries as just so-so, and would be better if warmed. The coffee selection for purchase is vast and worth exploring.

Nostalgic. Used to study here with coffee and a bagel sandwich. Too much bagel sandwiches maybe! It's still great with adorable decorations and good coffee.

For 2 decades, Tom Guerre has offered the best coffee I have ever tasted. Always consistent. Always well trained staff. Cozy atmosphere. Great energy.

Had one of the best espressos of my life here- it wasn't especially strong, but the bitterness and sweetness were well balanced and though the acid came through it wasn't sour like the one from That chain.
