Amazing food and an adorable cafe whose owners have the best story! Recommended!

Where do I begin? This place is straight out of a pastry chefs dream. I am still drooling! The hot breakfast sandwiches do not disappoint either. But, I had to dive into the flaky croissants and the creams. This place was other worldly. A must when in center harbor.

Heavenly. My husband and I decided to take a chilly boat ride to Center Harbor for brunch at the Italian cafe we'd read about. Wow. This place is amazing. I had the Calabrese breakfast sandwich and he had the Firenze. Both were served on homemade croissants with fresh ingredients. They were fantastic! We didn't leave enough room for pastries, so we brought a box home to share with our kiddos. We got cannolis, an espresso cream croissant and a cinnamon roll with mascarpone cheese. I'm proud to say the pastries DID make it home and we managed to share with our daughters. The cinnamon roll was (and I'm pretty sure this is not an exaggeration,) the best thing I've ever eaten in my life. We can't wait to go back!

Gusto is a wonderful authentic Italian cafe. Everything is freshly made and delicious. The focaccia bread is fabulous - I love the chicken cutlet sandwich on this bread. And their Italian Market on the hill behind the cafe is terrific. Fresh pasta sauce, cheeses, cold cuts…great to have this place in Center Harbor!!!

I was heartbroken last week because they were closed. Today I was only sad not to see a smiling Elena and or Nick. Don't worry though the smiling staff and delicious food cheered me right up. I would recommend getting 2 sandwiches though personally I rarely get enough time to enjoy the first as I scarf it down.... The second one gives you time to really enjoy what your eating. Best food near the lake!!

The food here is delicious. It's maybe the best restaurant in the Lakes region.

Gusto is a welcome new addition to Center Harbor. Fresh mozzarella, light focaccia, delicious soup, lavazza coffee and fresh Italian pastry. It's a little slice of Italy right here!

It absolutely blows my mind that this amazing and authentic Italian cafe exists in our neck of the woods. I am thoroughly impressed and excited about all this place has to offer. In your first walk through you will be pleasantly overwhelmed with the homemade offerings of pastries and menu items. I am so happy that they opened and can’t wait to try everything. The coffee is exceptional.
