Swill Coffee and Wine

Uniquely amazing atmosphere. Friendly, fun, great networking opportunities, good quality food and treats, and most amazing drinks (grade AAA coffee, always good wine, snobby beer, best smoothies & protein shakes).

Let me just start by saying, I rarely write negative online reviews. This isn't a warning, so much for customers, as it is for businesses wanting to deal with this company. I have a family member who is a very successful business man, he approached the manager about hosting a wine tasting there for his company and clients. Long story short, they completely blew him off, even after he went in personally to arrange the event. Another story, that happened to me personally. I was told that local artists were invited to hang their art in the shop, so I tried for weeks to meet with the manager about it, never seeming to be able to catch her in the store. Finally, I was given an email and told to contact a man to arrange when I would be able to display my art. The date I was given was for 3 months in the future, I stayed in semi constant contact with the gentleman and was really looking forward to my opening.... I even designed flyers, that I pasted out and emailed to friends and family... Like I said, I was really looking forward to it. About 2 weeks before my show was set to open, I emailed the man I had been in contact with..... no reply.... for a week... ONE WEEK before my show was set to open I get an email back saying that he no longer worked for the company and that I would need to contact them, so I did. I was told by the assistant manager, that they didn't have my event anywhere on their calendar or in their schedule, but that the manager would be in contact with me to rearrange my show............ its been several months and I'm still waiting on that phone call.
As for the coffee, it depends on who is working.

I'm giving the owner, Pete, 5 stars plus a whole bunch more. Not because he's a social elite, but because he's real. He helped me contend with the liars at the 'church' right around the corner and across the street, and he encouraged me to start playing music in public as well, letting me have access to his amazingly beautiful piano. Pete - keep on keeping on! He has a decent staff, too.

This place is super fun! The guy who runs the place isn’t the most family friendly guy if you’re coming to the coffee shop though. All other things considered, the place is cute and their food and coffee is yummy 🙂

I have not tried the food, but the COFFEE is so good. It is near my office and I've been here a few times. You can taste the difference, especially in the mocha. They use some high quality cocoa. The price is comparable, but you get more for your money.

Love the espresso here (and that I never have to ask for a double shot - bc who wants ONE shot of espresso?) And the staff is unfailingly friendly and helpful. I brought a friend a latte from Swill and ran into her there the next day because she'd liked it so much.

Probably the best iced coffee I've ever had, no joke. Visiting from out of town and it makes me sad there isn't one back home. Fantastic coffee, friendly staff, and the owner is a gem.

Most every time I've been to this operation I've been delighted in their customer service quality of food yummy coffee and was not let down today. Perfect spot for a quick little friendly business meeting :-)

Great coffee, Great service, and Artsy, Professional crowd. Will definitely go here again. And, my daughter loved her smoothie and the comfortable chairs...

Great casual place to hang out with coffee, tea, etc. Not crowded. Spicy chai coffee was delicious and came in an oversized ceramic cup, not paper. Like supporting local businesses like this one.
