Tru Bru Organic Coffee

Tru Bru has always been a favorite of mine, but recently I have noticed a change in staff resulting a change in quality. I ordered a matcha latte because I thought it was the best in town. I drank it and it was really watery. I went back up to the counter and let the staff know it was watery as some constructive feedback. The woman just said “okay.” They did not offer me a remake or offer a solution. I will probably never order the matcha again but I was very disappointed how to woman handled the feedback. Unfortunate to have someone like that in such a great place. A previous experience, I notified them that there was nutmeg instead of cinnamon in my drink, and the same woman (gray beanie with glasses) said “No, it’s cinnamon.” I know what cinnamon taste like and she didn’t even make my drink. Hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

Such a great environment to chill and meet up for coffee and super yummy food! The staff is always welcoming and happy to see us. They’ve only been open a few weeks and they already call us by name. We love everything about Tru Bru! 💕☕️💕

This place is now my new favorite coffee place! I got an iced oatmilk lavendar matcha latte and a sausage breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Everything tastes so fresh, and the drinks are heavenly. I’ve been meaning to try this place for a long time now, and I’m so glad I did 🥰

Amazing. I’ve been here 3 times the last two days.Who knew organic oat milk was so good in coffee? Get a latte or cappuccino! I almost came back last night and instead went and gained 4 pounds with a coffee bean frap 😩

tru bru is the best coffee shop in town! i love coming here the staff is always so kind and the food!!! Omg the food never disappoints, everything is organic and delicious. Pairing their food with their lovely environment is like a dream come true <3

Came here two days in a row for coffee, working and breakfast. The ambience, the quality of coffee and food, and the service is second to none! Tassi and Bree are especially fantastic, and I look forward to returning next time I’m in town!

Very pretty cafe with lots of food choices! I didn’t like their cold bru but curious to try their hand drips. They also warm up their scones in the fire pit so great texture!
Knocking off a star because they just randomly no warning/explanation/apology closed at 3. There are also basically no outlets so not the best for studying. Music is also a bit loud for both studying or chilling!

After doing my rounds at work, I decided to come to my favorite coffee roasters to relax, work, and pick up some beans for home brewing. The baristas welcome me with a warm and bright smile. I came to order a simple hot latte and three bags of espresso blended bean, one of which I custom mix (50% - 50% Mexico and Nicaragua). I sat down and set up my workstation as I waited for the warm drink and beans; I watched as they were gracefully preparing this delicious cup of their craft. It's nice to see something relaxing after the chaos at work. The baristas rang up my name when the latte was done. After receiving the drink, I waited for the beans. It took a while than usual to prepare; It could be because of the other drinks they were preparing for the other customers, so I told them to take their time for the beans. Later, one of the baristas came up to me and said that one of the beans they were serving was old and wanted to make it up by giving me something else. To my surprise, I asked how old, and she said the beans were roasted a month ago. It's not wrong of expiration, but to some coffee connoisseurs, it matters. I asked her to give me the fresh espresso blend and took her caveat emptor.

On top of that disclosure, she offered a cookie and warmed it up. I appreciate their care of the quality of their product and service. Even after coming here for months, their customer service always surprises me. You'll never want to miss this place if you're coming by. By far, their coffee will make you think twice before going to big branded cafes (Starbucks, etc.).

Warm, friendly and inviting atmosphere, quality organic coffee, pour overs, mochas, whatever your heart desires; And food that tastes fresh and real! Comfortable chairs and couches fire-side surrounded by real plants and natural light.

Great coffee! Wonderful place and very friendly staff. The only thing that we don’t like is they don’t bring drinks to your table(coffee in mugs). You have to pick them up yourself, but you can easily spill it, so I think it’s their job to do that.
