Public Works Coffee Bar

You'll probably have an okay experience in this contemporarily-styled cafe with semi-friendly service. Unfortunately, there's a chance they won't have some of the items they say they do on their menu.

We stopped by for breakfast on a Sunday, but experienced only disappointment when we were told they basically had none of the wraps, croissants, or substantial breakfast items they list on their menu.

I sort of felt like I was being scolded for wanting the food items they list on the menu on their web site. They had an outside vendor making waffles, but $10 for a couple of waffles did not feel like a good value to me.

Super cute. Nice and decorative with art work and merchandise sold inside. Super friendly staff and helpful to assist you in deciding what to order if you have no clue.

Love this place. Modern interior design. Supports local businesses. Advertise in the table of business cards. Brew coffee must be a premium brand at $3.50 no refills. Everyone does refills. Hence the lower rating.

RTC needs a direct bus route from Green Valley Pkwy and surrounding areas to get here. Otherwise, Boulder Highway Express drives on Water Street. Warm Springs bus to Boulder. I live on Pecos. $30 uber round trip. But like I said this coffee shop is incredible.

Great vibe! When I mentioned that it was my first visit they made sure to ask questions to craft the just-right drink for me! Loved the atmosphere to just sit, read and sip without loud music or the rush to turn over the table. Will be back!

Everything was really good. I had the French press, it was delicious. The Cruffin was really good too, the flavor was consistent all the way through, yummy. My wife had the quiche which was amazing, even the hot sauce packet that came with it was premium, they skimped on nothing here.

Such a cute local coffee stop with a comfy atmosphere! The staff are always so kind and accommodating, the drinks are delicious, and they're so quick. Public Works has become a favorite morning stop!

These guys are great! We had a cortado, buffalo chicken wrap, cinnamon roll, orange cranberry muffin, and turmeric dirty chai. All were spot on. If we had more time then we would have made us of their ample comfortable space. It helped the guys were very patient and helpful considering I ordered lunch at about 7 AM... Can't wait to return and try more!

Edit: I feel like I need to update this review since its 2 years old. lol..This coffee shop is still awesome and their iced nutella latte is always on point!

This place has good coffee for an average price. As well as, all the specialty drinks you'd expect at a coffee house. The biggest problem with this place is that they close at 2 p.m. on the weekends which is very inconvenient when I'm looking for places to study. There aren't any other decent coffee houses in the area that are open once they close. If their weekend ours weren't bad enough, I came in on a Friday at 11 a.m. walked in through the door and an employee ask me to leave because they said they were closed for their company party or something. They do have holiday hours posted on their door but they stated they will be closed on the 14th from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. I came in an hour after they were supposed to be open and the door was completely unlocked.
