Bad Owl Coffee

It's only my second time here, and although they're busy like other coffee shops, they make up for it. The atmosphere and the customer service is always on point!

The coffee wasn’t bad, but the service was very unwelcoming. Seems like the whole crew was just having a bad time and weren’t greeting the customers at all or communicating why no one was at the register. Their attitude was contagious with the customers as the lady in front of me seemed pretty frustrated with her experience as well. Management needs to make changes here.

I've tried a cappuccino from over 200 cafes throughout the US and this is first on the west coast that is comparable to how good coffee is in countries like Spain and Italy. Definitely come try this place.

Always in search of unique coffee places! Nice atmosphere and decor that resembles Harry Potter. There's no direct reference but you can connect the dots. For example, there's a sign that says platform nine and six-eighths on the brick wall.

Tried the butterbrew and the banana cold brew latte. The butterbrew had a subtle butterscotch taste. It could have used a bit more butterscotch (could just be my preference), otherwise, it was pretty good.

The banana cold brew latte was a bit underwhelming. I was expecting a fresh, ripe banana taste/flavor. I came to realize it made with fried banana chips...I think the fresh banana was left out...

Love finding coffee shops while on vacation. This place was a great find! Limited seating, but we didn’t have a problem finding one around 9:30 on a weekday. Numerous breakfast options, can’t go wrong with any of them! Same goes for the specialty espresso beverages! Wow, wish I could’ve tried them all! My son loved the butterbeer brew! Can’t wait to return!

If you love Harry Potter you got to try this place out and our drinks were amazing very comfortable little Cafe

I was 2nd in line and the lady in front of me seemed pretty frustrated and waited nearly 10 minutes. The worker at the register seemed irritated when I was asking him questions about what was in the coffee (I have a severe food allergy) so I told him I’m asking because of a food allergy and he said “I’m not sure.” Avoid this place if you have food allergies, celiac disease, or if you expect good customer service.

The Nitro Cold Brew and The Avocado Toast were on point! We had great service too!

I loved this place and came here regularly, but I’ve given up after three poor experiences within a month. The first time was forgetting my drinks, and I had to nudge them after 20 minutes of waiting. The second incident was when they told me they don’t serve hot earl grey tea - only iced. Say what?! I had to insist that hot earl grey tea exists, and that I order it from them all the time. How can a cafe inspired by Harry Potter not know this? The third strike was another forgotten order, I waited nearly a half hour because I slipped through the cracks again. To top things off, one of the drinks was made wrong. I already made the trip back home before realizing. Sorry Bad Owl, I’m out.

I like it, small and cozy. Sat in the back on the comfy chairs. HP decorations everywhere. I like how the employees continue cleaning everything costumers touch thoroughly.

I ordered their Butter Brew
Latte. I was asked if I want to add espresso because otherwise it will not have coffee in the drink which confused me because "latte" is a type of coffee made with espresso and hot steamed milk. I added espresso for an additional charge.

Didn't order their food due to the high prices in relation to what is being served. Unsure if the increased price is due to Covid.
