Such a sweeet place! Has local art for sale and little copper trees. I like local coffee and this is definitely on my list of favorites. A little advice though, when paying 5 dollars for a 16 oz something is wack. And yes I know local have it hard, they got to complete with big coffee chains that can have bigger drink for cheaper but this is on the higher side of local coffee. I love the decor and vibes and cant wait to come again

Great coffee and the ice cream was excellent! The layout inside is really comfortable and they have a perfect little spot for the kids to play.

Great place to stop for a cup of coffee on the way in or out of town. Their cold brew was strong and full bodied. The decor inside is very cute. They even have a small table and chairs for toddlers to sit at and either color or read books.

I had heard about a new coffee shop in gardnerville so I jumped on my motorcycle and rode up there from Reno. Excellent coffee shop!
Pros:
*Great coffee, tea, and delicious hot chocolate
*Hilarious signs in the bathrooms
*Easy to find, I rode up to gardnerville without any directions of the place and if you just look it is super easy to find.
*One of the owners was working and greeted me with an awesome smile and great recomendations.
*It's a family owned business and the coffee is roasted locally.
Cons:
*You haven't given it a try, you're too busy having that gross chain store coffee when you could have delicious coffee from a place like DST and help promote local business.
**Note, I saw on here that some mentioned the prices were expensive, well I don't think 3 dollars for a great coffee that is made properly by a true barista is too much to ask for, just saying....

This is a fairly new establishment and I'm sorry I was not first in line on opening day. Third wave coffee has come to Carson Valley and my little town of Minden. They use a roaster out of Reno who is really trying to get the sweetest flavors possible from their beans. The vibe in this coffee shop is super hip and it's right on the main drag. They have a nice offering of baked goods. I did not see any gluten free items but my gluten eating husband really enjoyed his scone. There is plenty of parking as well. Go on down to DST Coffee. This coffee geek couldn't be happier.

DST has amazing coffee and an even more special atmosphere... The "local" theme of the shop is a favorite and it is definitely the got to meet up place in town!

Wow! This place is open, artsy and inviting! Every wall has something interesting on it. The locale is very clean, has ample seating and the coffee was excellent-above average for a boutique coffee shop.
