The server Katrina was amazing and so kind answered any questions I had and always made me feel at home.

Ordered online for pickup. We ordered two Philly cheesteak omelets and paid extra to upgrade for pumpkin pecan pancakes. When our order came out we were told they did not have the pancakes so they gave us regular and they were out of hash browns so gave us French fries instead (seriously!! French fries for breakfast??). I asked for a refund of the extra we paid for the upgrade and was told they could not refund online orders as that money does not come to them (This made zero sense). She also said she couldn't cancel the order as it was already paid for. As if that wasn't all bad enough the meal was terrible. The "steak" in the omelets tasted like it had sat in a refrigerator for several days and then warmed up. They were large chunky inedible pieces. Instead of the peppers that were suppose to be in it I found several pieces of what appeared to be some kind of squash. Even the substituted fries were hard and cold. I have been attempting to contact the site that does the online orders by phone and email with zero success. I don't recommend eating here but if you must DO NOT order online!

Thank you Hannah for making our time at Denny’s enjoyable and getting our food fast as possible to us.

Food are good but it took us over an hour waiting. We tried to be patient because most of the restaurants are under staff.

Hannah was very polite and fast with getting us served and seated. Awesome service.

Went to have breakfast this morning and left after waiting 5 minutes watching the two workers not actively engaged in anything but themselves, and neither elicited a welcoming acknowledgement or smile or "we'll be with you in a minute". We did NOT feel welcomed so went elsewhere. Terrible service. Wish the hotel would cut Denny's loose.

Waitress was horrible. Kids wanted grapes and the were served to us all slimy and rotten. Used to love taking kids here for dinner but it's getting bad.

Decent food, small portions, mediocre service. The waitress slid my skillet across the table and took off-no chance to ask for ketchup or hot sauce, and only returned to give me the bill after I finished eating

Shirlene was excellent. Very accommodating and friendly. Food came out fast and tasty.

Where to begin? The hotel Nevada USED to have a charming nostalgic diner ~ decorated with all the wonderful & historic things that, for years, speak true of this remote part of Nevada Cowboy & Mining Country, and its colorful history. Step forward into 2023, post-pandemic, and its new owners, from Las Vegas apparently, have gutted the historic heart and soul out of this historic and iconic Nevada hotel. What you're left with now, is a very morbid excuse for a Denny's restaurant. Indeed, one would find more atmosphere and better food on almost any main street (or ghetto) anywhere else in America. The ambition of the underpaid, and under tipped waitstaff apparently left on the last train northbound, which probably derailed somewhere near McGill. I attempted to order food here for over an hour without success. When someone finally did come out to greet me I was so disgusted I abruptly left. May I also mention here, that if you call this Denny's, you'll be funneled into some horrific sweatshop styled national call center, where you will struggle to communicate your order to a person who barely understands even second grade remedial English. Good luck on your request ever being legibly communicated to this Denny's, some thousands of miles away from where your call was received. Online orders more than likely receive about the same level of attention, as how most of the wait staff is probably outside enjoying a 420 or cigarette break, at the expense of customers starving inside. That being said, a cigarette break would hardly even be necessary, as the adjacent casino is so horribly filled with smoke, that you are basically served a complimentary side order of lung cancer with every meal. Meals I HAVE had here in the past were served cold and barely recognizable with any other Denny's restaurant to date. The pictures offered online or in the menu, while tantalizing, are such a far cry from what will ultimately be delivered, that you would think that you were being served a meal in a post-apocalyptic world, reminiscent of Bartertown from Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome. The pierced & tattooed waitstaff dressing their parts accordingly. A chainmael-clad Tina Turner waitress, would be a quality redeeming addition to this establishment! While Ely itself is a wonderful, nostalgic town, more than worthy of your visit & time; you will actually step into nothing short of the "upside down" upon your visit & experience at this Denny's. My advice to you on this would be to "Run Forrest Run", as fast as you can, to ANY other restaurant in town, where you will be promptly greeted, & promptly served a warm delicious meal. Honestly anywhere would be better and worthy of your hard-earned money. I digress. Enjoy & best of luck!
