Sehnert's Bakery & Bieroc Cafe

I received these through Goldbelly. I am not a Bierock fan at the best of times, but I can say these made me even less of a fan. They charged a loved one over $80 for 6 Bierocs, That were packed with such laziness I'm amazed I didn't get ill, and I'm pretty sure that if the temperture had been even slightly above freezing the day they arrived, I would have. I recieved what was called the " bieroc best sellers hand pie 6 pack" that was in actuality 6 small, soggy pieces of bread that were overstuffed with cabbage and sauerkraut, that were loosely thrown into an "insulating" piece of foam in basically ziploc sandwich bags.

They were absolutely terrible, were packed badly, and I wasn't having a great holiday to begin with, but when I found out that my loved one spent over $80 on 6 awful pieces of soggy bread it honestly makes me even more upset.

If you're charging $80+ please at least put some effort into your packing. So people aren't getting soggy folded in half "beirocs" in a badly insulated box.

Cute little spot with ample seating and lots of baked goods. Coffee was great. They also serve beer and booze.

This place is great! I reroute my drive through Nebraska so I can stop here.

I had the pleasure of visiting Sehnert’s Bakery in August of 2022 during a trek across Nebraska to rural communities. Fortunately for me, I also had the privilege of touring their business and interacting closely with their owners and staff. I was highly impressed with Sehnert’s attention to detail, strong customer service, and beautiful, clean facilities. I would highly recommend a Hazelnut Freeze and glazed donut during your visit and encourage you to further explore the community of McCook. This is a perfect stop for an afternoon snack, too! Andrew and Alix, owners, truly provide an experience you will not soon forget and cares deeply about their customers and community. Thank you Andrew, Alix, and team for the incredible opportunity and delicious espresso and eats.

I remember going there , when I went to MCCOOK Community college. Good Apple Fritters.

Jiffy Burgers are good! Bakery goods are good! Quiet place to have lunch or coffee and a roll.

Awesome pastries. Unique atmosphere.
Definitely recommend stopping if you are in the area.
