Where to begin....who knew we had our very own 5 Star cafe here in Bethany! I had a delicious breakfast of quality as well as abundance. My partner had a combination of vegetarian sides, all of which were devoured with enthusiasm. Caleb, (owner and chef) is absolutely wonderful. He came to our table and spoke at length with us. His son, Samuel, also cooks and has the same friendly disposition as Caleb. Finally, Zack, our server gave us warm, friendly and professional service. Honestly, we could not have asked for a better dining experience and look forward to returning to this wonderful cafe. Great all the way around! I must mention that espresso drinks are available and wifi is supplied. This would also be a lovely place to grab a cup of java and enjoy your current book. Finally, other than being closed Sun & Mon, the cafe is open until 9 PM. Who could ask for more! Huge kudos! Gotta say one more thing. There is fresh, homemade bread. Be sure to take a loaf home. Fabulous with honey butter!

Extremely slow service and my food was cold when it arrived at my table.

Mice sandwich chips were great. Price not bad.

Literally only giving 1 star because I have to, will never order from this restaurant again. Paid $30 and did not receive $30 worth of food at all point blank. 4 Oz of Mac and cheese for $5.99 is a complete rip off and not to mention it was literally cold to the touch, my taco shell was definitely stale. When I called he pretty much said too bad. Hope that $30 treats you well

Nice little Cafe in the Bethany area. They were fairly busy when we visited with only one server working the dining room, who also let us know the food would be a while as they only had one cook and they were backed up on orders. Food came out a little faster than expected and was OK. Eggs were well cooked but hash browns suffered from too much grease--undercooked with grease left underneath them. Chicken salad sandwich was low on the meat-to-bread ratio, but did have good a hearty bread. Won't be my favorite cafe in town but don't be afraid to try it, you may have better luck.

Two in the party ordered salmon risotto which was very good. Two ordered butternut squash risotto which was a little disappointing. Think they have some good menu items. Little pricy.

Edited 1/2019 to say that the owner sold this and moved to a different location, which is now closed. HOWEVER, "The Bethany Cafe" is still open, but it's a different owner and a completely different menu, atmosphere, everything. Seems to be more bar and grill fare, heavy on the microwave.
Loved the scallops special, and especially the roasted Brussels sprouts. Pan roasted chicken was good, but tough. Lemon tart was very lemony, and nice and tart.

I ordered the meatloaf sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy to go. I took it home in cold weather and it was still hot when I got home. The meatloaf was excellent. Not too spicy not too tomatoey but just right. Kudos to the chef. I assume the peach pie will be as delicious as it looks. Good job Bethany Cafe
