The Chocolate Bar

I wanted to thank Perry and Liz Schutz for providing the yummy Rainbow cakes and delicious coffee for the nurses at CHI Health St Francis. Thank you for caring for us as we care for others. Your support during this trying time has been greatly appreciated.

The atmosphere here is great and is something Grand Island needs more of. It’s refreshing! This is a wonderful place to visit during the day or evening. The hot or iced Cuban is delicious!

We lived in Grand Island for a while but have been south of Lincoln now for 5 years. My wife's favorite was the Rainbow layer cake. I was in GI Thursday, called them in the mid afternoon and swung by to pick up an entire cake for my wife's birthday Friday. I kept it in the fridge overnight, dropped it off at her office a little before noon. It was very dry and disappointing. Kinda a bummer. We threw most of it out.

Quiet atmosphere, relaxing, freindly. Delicious cakes and candy, unique cocktails. 3 large meeting rooms that can be turned into larger spaces. MUST check out the television in the men's room mirror!

Great environment, not too loud. Great place to unwind that is not a typical bar atmosphere. Great staff as well, very knowledgable about their products and happy to answer all our crazy questions.

Coffee? Amazing. Cake? Spectacular. Staff? Beyond awesome! Location? Fantastic. Atmosphere? Unbeatable. Food? Instagram perfect. Love taking my out of town friends here!

Owner introduced herself and was very friendly staff makes me feel welcomed. Food is yummy! I'm from los Angeles, and this place makes me feel like I'm back home. Classy. Trendy, good vibe, good drinks and yummy food!

A Chocolate Bar that falls short on their selection of chocolate. I love the fact that they serve drinks and the staff are friendly. But it's a "Chocolate Bar" with a VERY LIMITED selection of chocolate. This place serves drinks, limited chocolate, lunch, dinner, and they close early if business is slow. This place has an identity crisis. Maybe they need to provide all these alternatives to attract business - I dont know. Maybe if they were truly focused on selling chocolate the people of Grand Island would not support them - I dont know. I just know this place reminds me of someone in search of themself. Once you find yourself, I may visit again.

We stopped in after a concert at 10:30 Saturday night. Many folks had same idea. We paid 16.00 for 2 coffees and 2 pieces of small cake. 1 coffee came, later the cakes came. 15 minutes after that came my coffee. I got a sorry when it was put down in front of me. No cream or sugar that was taken during time if order. Worst cup of coffee I have ever had. My 2nd experience, my friends 1st. Full cup of coffee left behind . I left a tip at time of check out.
