This review may be a little different, as it has to do with an interaction with another customer.
I am a train car host at the Durham Museum. I volunteer there a couple of times a week, sit in the lounge car, and talk to people about the station, the trains, and their train experiences.
A lot of times, with a family, I'll ask one of the kids, "Did you have breakfast?" And then I'll ask what they had, preparing to launch into the dining experience on trains.
Yesterday I asked a girl, about 10 years old, what she had. And she said a muffin. So naturally I wanted to know what kind. Blueberry cheesecake. I had a sneaking suspicion. "Where'd you get that?" Mom replied Green Beans Coffee.
I told her I had been to the Millard location many times and how anxious we were to get the dining room open at the Bellevue location. And here's the point of this long, winding story — at that point we were like family. We shared our appreciation for John's vision for community and the company's affinity for the military. We shared our favorite menu items. We shared our love for Amber, who continues to carry on the vision, and whose heart is as big as the day is long.
In that one galvanizing moment, we were family. Thank you. You're making an impact in our community well beyond coffee.
Side note: My favorite muffin is the cherry cheesecake, with the apple pie muffin a close second. I love the Tartines.
Honor first. Coffee second.

I got a macchiato and a standard size breakfast burrito. Both are amazing and were made fresh! I haven't had anything like this from a coffee shop in a long time. It's amazingly affordable too! This is now my go to coffee shop! Thank y'all for such a wonderful treat.

I wanted to love this place and support it as a small business since its right down the street and I'm a coffee addict, but unfortunately it was a bad experience. 30 minutes sitting in the drive thru for 2 cold drinks, 2 pastries and 2 burritos is a no for me. They also were out of one of the pastries i wanted and had to sub it for another and the girl didn't ask me she just told me when she handed me the bag. I sat at the window for over 20 minutes just waiting for the drinks then she hands me them and says we're still working on two of your items, another 15 minutes later I finally got my food. No apology, nothing.

Got a hot chocolate and mango for my friend along with a cinnamon roll. While the frosting a bit too sweet for me I like that it's not bread and frosting like some other places that call their items cinnamon rolls. The hot chocolate had a really nice cream that isn't like scooters or starbucks. My friend said she really enjoyed the mango smoothie so overall a great experience. First time and though I'm not a coffee drinker I'll come back for the pastries.

So thankful that a local coffee place is nearby! Even more thankful that it has a drive-thru! I've been there twice - the first time I got an Americano which was wonderful and costs less than Starbucks. Second time I got an iced coffee and one of their breakfast burritos and it was freshly made for me. No more taking something out of a wrapper and throwing it in the heater at another place! Hopefully they will have a rewards program because I'll be one of their regulars!❤️

You don't often see 'Quad Cappuccino' on the menu, and the 3 that I had during a recent visit were all delicious! Well worth the very small jog off hwy 370 in Bellevue...

Omg! So highly recommended! Good prices, great service and the coffee is now my favorite. I got the blended mocha raspberry and my fiancé got the blended mocha butterscotch.

I wrote a glowing review before - a few months ago. I don't know what has happened but it has gone downhill. I'm so disappointed. I've ordered the breakfast tartine several times and every time it was made differently. Once when I ordered - the employee asked me what kind of cheese she was supposed to put on it. We've had a long few days and I woke up tired and very hungry. I decided to get a coffee and a turkey croissant. I asked for extra turkey and no cheese or egg. While the coffee was fine - my turkey croissant was terrible. There was very little turkey and it looked like they shredded it (?). I refused to eat it. We are moving and that was likely my last time at Green Beans. Sad to see the quality go down so much! I will go back after work and request a full refund.

Drive up only. The coffee was very good. Would recommend over Starbucks anytime.

Amazing coffee! Stopped by while visiting from out of state. Even better that its founded by veterans! Wish there was one in Indiana!
