Montana Coffee Traders

One of my favorite places. Many varieties of finely roasted coffee. These guys really know how to roast coffee. There are more varieties in the store than you find in the grocery stores. Cozy atmosphere. Interesting things to look at and buy - gifts, jewelry, cards, coffee and tea brewing and drinking stuff. All high quality. Beautiful greeting cards. Skilled baristas. Some really yummy baked goods. It's a great place.

Usually go here when visiting Whitefish. Also usually good service. A mix up this time in our order, I'm pretty sure we walked out without a drink we paid for. Will visit again. Maybe have a better experience. ( A different cashier 🤗). Great coffee when we get it right!!

Was in today and overheard a gray haired "karen" type arguing with the manager. Karen didn't realize how coffe shops work, that after you order you kinda linger and grab your stuff from the pickup zone before sitting down to a table. Apparently she expected a full waitress style service. The manager finally tracked her down and brought her her stuff and she tried ripping into the manager and being all "this is unacceptable" "I need to speak to your boss" "I'm not a tourist, I'm local" typical Karen type BS. The manager stayed so calm and attempted to explain how coffee shops work, despite being repeatedly interrupted and demeaned by this lady. She stayed super polite and even offered her a free drink on her next visit to the store, but the Karen announced "we're done". Anyways, I always find the service and staff are FABULOUS and and I am always impressed with them. Manager girl if you are reading this: I hope the rest of your day got better! Good job

Montana Coffee Traders is one of the best local coffee businesses that serves up great coffee as well as pretty decent food. The decaf coffee is water processed which is important to us. My favorite is the Italian roast. I've never had anything from Montana Coffee Traders that I didn't like.

We were in Whitefish almost exactly a year ago and stumbled upon this place. My fiancée loved the coffee at Montana Coffee Traders so much that he just ordered a ton and had it shipped to Washington DC to get him through social distancing. It’s even better than he remembers. Seriously, he’ll take a sip and mumble ‘that’s so freakin’ good’ under his breath. Plus the customer service is fantastic! Highly recommend!

Great coffee, not the best I've had, but very good. It would be nice if they stayed open later, I repeatedly plan to head down after they're closed. More gluten free baked options would be nice, I'm sure they'd sell.

I had a cup of Cappuccino that was good. Tables where folks gather and work plus some local fare for sale. Many shops around this area with items from Art to clothes.

Some of the best coffee in the area! My husband got the bee sting and I got vanilla latte, and we know we’ll be coming back for more

This is an adorable coffeehouse where you can enjoy lots of delicious beverages and baked goodies but most interesting to me is the general store/fun gift area up front. The prices are fair for the high-quality items which are specific to Whitefish and Montana as well as general items.
