Stopped here in December and again in January on our way through town. Awesome coffee! Very nice people and we took our coffees over to the amazing dog park across the foot bridge. They also insisted we take a dog cookie for our pup when they found out that's where we were headed :)

They're the best, and best of all they support the arts.

They provide coffee to the hotel across the street, which is where I found them. Now I get their coffee every time I’m in Missoula. If you really like coffee, you will like what they have to offer.

My favorite spot for coffee in Missoula. The espresso drinks are always fantastic & the service is consistently just as good as the coffee. It's so great to have a real local coffee shop in this neighborhood, especially one that does their roasting onsite. They also have an assortment of pastries and other goodies that they make in house. The sandwiches are pretty excellent as well.

Great service, strong coffee, wonderful ambiance. The bakery selections and sandwiches are delicious. My son and I always walk over here while doing laundry at the nearby laundromat and he always looks forward to it.

Nice folk working counter always kind, coffees pretty good, But thier soups are amazing. Curry apple and rice, Curry pumpkin both homeruns and they serve with nice hunks of fresh banquet. Very pleased with Drum Coffee.

Drum has two really great shops in Missoula. The environment is exceptional and the baristas are very personable. However, after several times having their coffee (specifically the americano) - I've just been unimpressed. The espresso is often over-extracted giving it a burned/bitter taste. I really want to like it because they do so well in other areas but the coffee just isn't great in my experience.

So we are on one of those summer road trips and after 7hrs of driving, we pulled in here to have a bathroom break and get some snacks and keep trekking... we arrived and found the doors locked and my 4 and 8 year old couldn't hold it. We ran back to the car and I shut my 4 year old's hand in the car door (total mom fail) and Ben went above and beyond and gave us a cup of ice and a giant cookie (which was the perfect distraction) and even opened up the bathroom for us. He took what could have been a temporary disaster and fixed it in 2 minutes flat. It was a level of kindness I was not expecting and couldn't be more grateful for. Good people work here. I will support them every time we drive by missoula just because of Ben's kindness. I hope the owner/manager gives him an attaboy because he deserves it. Thank you all.

John knows his stuff, and you can tell he’s put a lot of thought and care into the design of the space. The coffee is top notch, and one of the things I miss when I’m out of town. The baristas are super friendly, and have it dialed in every day. Definitely worth stopping here. Also, grab a sandwich to go and throw it in your pack for a day hike.

The South Ave location is the BEST. The East Broadway location is difficult to get into in terms of street access & parking, it was way too loud inside and the Baristas were not as friendly and able to answer questions - in fact they seemed annoyed at being asked any questions! A very different attitude than what all of the Baristas at the South Ave location display. They Do have a drive up window, so if all you want is get a coffee, it is an option - but even the access to the drive up is awkward & difficult!
