Lovely place! Just wish they were still in Missoula. I will make the drive to Hamilton to eat here! Looks like cancel culture jumped on here to drive down their ratings (because that’s all those kids know how to do these days) so don’t pay attention to any low ratings~ this place is GREAT!

My wife and I picked this place to eat spontaneously as we have never eaten here before. The food tasted incredible and had my wife saying "mmm" which she only does when she genuinely enjoys something. She had a breakfast burrito with veggies, sausage and goat cheese and I had the white chocolate chip pancakes with blueberries and blackberries. Delicious. We also got a loaf of sourdough bread and it is incredible as well!

Best hometown Artisan cafe ever! Friendly staff and delicious breads, pastries and entree's! It's our favorite stop when we have the privilege of visiting Montana and I can't wait to go there again! The owner's go out of their way to serve the community and support local businesses.

Our favorite date breakfast spot, we are there weekly; well worth the 30 minute drive. Without exception, our experiences have been positive: the staff is friendly, the food is excellent. Current favs are the avocado toast and the artichoke swiss quiche. Lattes are smooth and well made too! YUM

Update 11/9/2021. The price of the breakfast sandwich went from $8 to $11. and the past two times they forgot the egg. Service is not as friendly as I’d like to see. I try to be very forgiving and understanding but there’s been something wrong with my orders as of late. The biggest reason I have changed my 5 star review into a 1 star that I don’t like how political this business makes things. And after the “peaceful protest” this business is organized today at the elementary school about vaccines, I will never be returning. I am heartbroken about this. I understand the business owner is sticking up for what she believes in and that’s cool, but I think using your business as a platform for your political preferences is sloppy and careless. I feel betrayed after all the years of business Ive given to this establishment. They have alienated me and my family as we have immune issues.

What you need to know:
1. This place is always busy and is not a fast food restaurant. If you’re in a hurry I recommend trying them on a day when you are not.
2. The breakfast burritos are delicious but the quiche is EVERYTHING. Try any flavor. You won’t be disappointed.
3. These guys get five stars from me based solely on their delicious food. The espresso based drinks leave much to be desired flavor wise and usually aren’t steamed to proper temperature. I like my coffee hot! 160-180. And having been a barista for 10+ years I would guess that they’re steaming their drinks to 130 or 140. If you decide to get an espresso based drink be specific about the temperature that you want.
4. Buy the lemon bars. Eat the lemon bars. Repeat.

I make it out to Hamilton about four or five times a year and no visit is complete without making a stop (or several) to Red Rooster. Heck, the almond cake alone is worth the trip from South Carolina…..really, try that stuff and tell me it’s not spectacular. Everything is great!!!! Keep it up, ladies. Just a wonderful spot!!!

I absolutely love EVERYTHING about this place! It's one of our favorite places to get lunch in Hamilton. Fresh and delicious food! This bakery has some amazing owners who genuinely care about the community! We appreciate you guys!

Thank you very much for your generosity in treating veterans to a complimentary lunch last week on Veteran’s Day. My husband loved his sandwich and the the special treatment he received. The sandwich was delicious and we also bought a loaf of pumpkin bread and we are still enjoying it!
