Great little cafe with good coffee and excellent staff! Stopped in for a maple latte and was impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the excellence in craft! Highly recommend this place!

The best latte I’ve had in months.
And also while sitting in there for a while I noticed how the workers did a great job of keeping the place clean! Keep it up!

We had the Frappe with Caramel, cold brew , Powder and Cinnamon donuts Everything was delicious the donuts are so yummy 😋

Loved the vibe of the coffee shop and people! The fact that they allow their staff to make drinks and they were good drinks speaks miles. There is plenty of coffee, hipster/trendy gifts, and some snacks for a longer day there.

This is a great coffee shop. They have good snacks and breakfast items and poured a delicious espresso. Their friendliness towards the local dogs is also great!

Aidan,( the barista working there when I visited) new his stuff. He recommended me all different sorts if brews and teas that would be a good pair with my taste buds. The place is tidy and very well kept. The interior design is very hip and has a cool vibe to it. They have some decent already made meals if you're hungry too. I had the cheese and ham croissant and it was delish. Definitely recommend this place, and would hope to see a promotion in store for the young gentleman with the strange accent.

This place is awesome! Their coffee is always perfect and the staff is so kind. I had them set up a coffee bar at my wedding this past summer and they did an amazing job!

Black Dog is the cleanest coffee shop I have ever seen. They run a tight ship, have friendly and knowledgeable staff, and have a variety of great coffee. To my knowledge, they are currently the only shop in the state that contracts with Stumptown Coffee from Portland, but have also recently started rotating coffee from a locally renowned roaster. This is a great spot to work remotely or have small meetings, but don't plan to stay for more than a couple hours because of the limited selection of comfy seats. They also make a point to rotate in products from other local companies to pair with coffee. My favorite here is a cortado, or an iced americano in the summer. Black Dog might seem out of the way, but it's the only quality third wave coffee shop that isn't downtown.
