Good market with poor business model. Product prices are too low and therefore the business cannot "afford" to pay the employees group health care, sick and PTO days. Therefore they revert to masking as a cheap health care policy. Too bad the employees don't use their new found voice of courage to demand a wage and benefits that matches rent in Big Sky! Therefore this model will spread disease, poverty, and stress for all clients and employees. I cannot support poverty and sickness business models! I wish you courageous leadership in taking care of all your neighbors! Make changes!!!!

I honestly didn’t expect a deli in the middle of Montana to have one of the best tuna sandwiches I had ever had, but then Hungry Moose Market showed up and my life was complete. They had a unique take on the sandwich and the bread was AMAZING. Definitely a favorite apres ski place for me now!

The food is great, overpriced but good. However since I live in town center I always stop by the moose to grab a quick bite before work. Today I ordered a sandwich Togo, since I had to go to work, and asked them to put the chips in the bag and the guy said no. Flat out no. Just because I wasn’t dining in.
I can understand that policy if it was always followed but most of the people here know me, so for him to say no to putting chips in a bag was kind of off putting.
Like I’m already paying $11 for a turkey sandwich and now they raised their smoothie prices to $8 a pop and they cant throw a handful of their bulk chips into the bag the sandwich already comes in...

Great little grocery store and fantastic deli. The menu items are priced fairly and never disappoints. If you are doing a full shopping run this may not be the place to go but for a couple items and so good grub

Stopped in to get a few quick drinks. We noted that the store seemed to be 1/2 wine (large selection!), then some beer, then a selection of other interesting foods. Prices seemed high, but not unexpected for a resort town.

The Best breakfast burrito my wife has ever had. She told me "I would eat one of these every day for the rest of my life if I could". I had a fantastic Mediterranean Turkey, and I'm told the BLT and the twist on the philly were also both great. My wife even decided to set an alarm to get up, while on vacation, to go get another one tomorrow...6 stars if we could 🌟

The Hungry Moose was a small, nice grocery and deli. We were able to pick up yogurt, fruit, and some other basics to supplement the hotel breakfasts we had while skiing at Big Sky. The deli staff were helpful and friendly. They have some fun moose-themed souvenirs available as well.

Completely dissatisfied. I ordered a special cake for my husband 30th Birthday and at the pick up time they told me that they do not have a cake for me. Very stressful, I had to run around searching for another option last minute.

We stayed near Big Sky for a week and found ourselves going to the Hungry Moose daily. Great place for drinks in the morning, lunch sandwiches, groceries, as well as beer and wine. If you're spending time in Big Sky, go early in your trip so you're aware of all their offerings. You'll be back several times. I promise.

Good food but horrible service. I rarely write bad reviews but we sat there for 45 minutes waiting for 2 sandwiches. We told the deli that we had a wedding to get to and there was still no sense of urgency. Luckily we made it in time for the wedding b/c it was running late. Please allow 30-45 minutes for a deli sandwich.
