Hands down, the BEST peppermint mocha frappe you will ever find! Customer service was amazing, environment was welcoming, and the outside seating area had a nice view. Locals are very nice and helpful. I really like that this place is just off the walking trail, so you can go for a walk/run before you indulge in some extra calories :) I also wanted to say that their bakery items were exquisite as well! My husband and I shared a Gooey Butter Cake slice and it was divine!

Excellent place to grab a delicious coffee and fantastic salad or sandwich. Not sure which coffee to try? They offer a flight of coffees so you can sample on any of their 20 plus coffees. Antmosphere and staff are incredible! Make the trip. You will NOt be disappointed!

underGROUNDS was a nice coffee bar and a great place to eat! The salad was nice and fresh and my Earl Gray tea was tasty! I will definitely be returning soon.

Love the vibe and the great selection of baked goods. I wish they had more options for frappés and flavored coffees, but the vanilla bean was still good. If you're more of a die hard coffee fan, without all the syrups and whipped cream, this is your place.

Update 5/16/22 - Love the new place! Great selection of choices for food, bakery and coffee! Server was so sweet and thoughtful. Absolute best cafe food in the area. They finally have blended and flavored coffees! If you're in the area, definitely give Undergrounds a try!

Fantastic service, food, drinks, coffees, and atmosphere. My favorite place to unwind, my favorite self-care treat to myself, best mental, emotional, and relaxation therapy ever. And it's totally worth the 1.5 hour drive to get there! Best coffee house ever!

Where's the 10 star button! The staff is friendly, the building is years old, but structured unique w/modern lighting & very relaxed atmosphere. Enjoyed the flavorful mouth bursting espresso flavors! Will definitely x10 be coming back for more!

underGROUNDs Espresso bar is definitely a place to give a try. The staff were very kind & offered recommendations. The avocado arugula toast was by far the best I’ve ever had. Definitely will be a habitual customer when in town!

I had the Winter coffee flight and it was absolutely delicious! It is a great place to grab coffee and food if you are visiting Washington.

"Coffee Flights" sample 4 flavors. Ya know ya gotta do this!! Great little Expresso joint. Good service and really good coffee . If you kike a littlesweet with your coffee, try the Dulce de Letche, or the Honey Lavender Latte....even was able to get the much underrated eclair!! 😁😆😅

Undergrounds was a great coffee shop with a nice selection of breakfast lunch and bakery options. My favorite was their puppy chow latte made with white espresso. The owner took great care in service and quality.
