The Washington Coffee Shop

We are regulars at this coffee shop. Went in last week with my girlfriend. Both ordered med. Latte and breakfast. Our coffee both she said something to me first, both coffees were half filled with whip cream wich we wanted but half full. The worst was when we went to show the lady who made them she accused me of drinking most of mine and the manager just stood there. She made a week creamy mixture and poured some in our cups still not much. When you pay 6$ for a cup of coffee you should get coffee. But it was truly the way we were treated is what the main problem was. So we both love the atmospheric there that really dampered it for us. There are to many other coffee shops in Washington to go to. I dont want treated like that again 😕

We were visiting Washington to view the world's largest steam locomotive. We stopped for a delightful lunch! My husband had the roast beef sandwich. I had the garden salad with chicken. Food was fresh and tasty. Nice atmosphere, internet connection, and friendly folks! Clean. Check it out!

Good coffee, but expensive. Zucchini bread failed.

Absolutely delicious coffee and great options!

Coffee was ok. Just your typical overpriced coffee shop. Advertised breakfast all day but at 10AM they were out of breakfast items I was wanting. Had the croissant instead and it was dry and tasteless.

Love it here! The frappes are delicious and nothing like a big chain coffee shop’s drinks. The Elvis is delicious and tastes like a peanut butter cup. Dark hot chocolate from here is also one of my favorites.
I don’t regularly drink coffee or enjoy the taste but I thought theirs was actually really good!
Comfortable, fun mismatched seating too. :)

Great atmosphere and convenient location. I was passing the time while having my car repaired across the street. A quick meal and coffee here passed the time quickly and pleasantly. There were good vegetarian food and non-caffeine drink options. Employees were super friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed a wonderful River Fog Tea

My friend was at this establishment earlier today and was treated very, very poorly. My friend simply wrote something on a receipt as a joke and an employee yelled at her and proceeded to guilt trip her. My friend ended up crying while at the establishment and then hid from said employee. The employee then called her out on hiding and yelled at her even more. This employee got my friend their coffee and then told them to leave. I am very disappointed in the discipline of this employee and I will not be giving my patronage to the Washington Coffee Shop until something is done about this verbally abusive incident.

Just visited for the first time. Really nice ladies! I had a delicious raspberry mocha. Price was comparable to Starbucks. We also purchased some animal crackers for my four-year-old. Appreciated that they had something for her to enjoy. All of the pastries looked amazing. The place seemed cozy. It would be a fun place to meet friends for coffee.
