Drinking great coffee out of a real, big mug in an incredible old-converted-church ambiance. Stuff to eat you expect at a coffee shops including a great lunch menu and gelato!

Very relaxing atmosphere in a restored building near St. Louis university. Great coffee and breakfast sandwich love this place. I will be back!!!

Overpriced food. Really limited choice. Mostly counted on hungry students that doesn't have enough time to go to the normal place. Avoid if possible.

This place is beautiful, sweet and convenient. It’s Kaldi’s coffee products, coffee specials that rotate monthly and an array of breakfast, lunch, and non-coffee beverage options. Lately I have been grabbing oatmeal (includes fruit, maca powder, hemp seeds and pecans) and an iced latte. I see lots of students ordering frappes and bagels, too. Their lunch menu starts at 11am. Another plus — they have 20oz coffees. The staff are all helpful and kind but occasionally there is only one person working, but I am never in a rush so it doesn’t bother me.
A note about accessibility — the front door of the church/cafe has stairs, but there is a side door that leads to the patio. I believe you would be able to navigate a stroller or wheelchair using that entrance. There is lots of room inside and outside to have a seat and enjoy your drink, your book, or use the WiFi to study.
This feels like having our own secret Kaldi location. I’m really grateful they’re here. The website says they are non-profit and while I don’t 100% understand how that impacts their model, I hopeful I am putting my daily coffee habit to good use.

I think Seth makes a good point that it is housed in a church, there is religious imagery and Christian content present inside. I see why people may want to know this ahead of time to determine their own comfort level before proceeding.

Crave STL is one of the best perks that came with my new role that allows me to work at home. Their coffee and food are great, delicious, and healthy (in many cases). The team is always welcoming and friendly, and the space is often abuzz with students, professionals, and neighbors. Parking can be tricky sometimes, but there is a parking lot behind the shop (access via the alley that runs directly adjacent to the south side of the building). They have a good rewards program that helps to keep me coming back again, as well. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area, and see what makes this a great spot.

Cute coffee shop, right on SLU campus. Decent coffee and their chipotle sauce is awesome. There's plenty of space to sit and work. Staff is friendly and welcoming, and they pay attention to my order every time. Plus they have great benefits through square if you're using your credit cards. They send me so many coupons that every time I go now I pretty much get a discount.

The one thing I wish was known in advance: this is an active place of worship versus being just a coffee shop that just so happens to be in an old church. The religious symbolism everywhere could have just hearkened back to its previous use, but it was the Joy FM style music playing that marred the experience. So many other genres could be utilized that are so much more audibly pleasing... In the end, it's their place and can do whatever.

New (to me) coffee place in a repurposed building, and it's near somewhere I was already?? Gotta give it a try. I drove around for about 5 minutes trying to find a spot not covered by street sweeping that day, or that was parking for residents only... just to find in the end there's parking in back. Don't miss out on that point.

It's not a bad place... there was plenty of space to sit down, and ample outdoor seating if that's your thing, and the staff was kind and prompt. .

Whether on campus and need a refresher for coffee or the many events they host, genuinely a hidden spot in plain sight.

This former-church, coffee shop gives off a really homey vibe. Location is very convenient for students on the Med Campus at SLU. It tends to be packed but it's a good study spot when you can find a seat. The service is quite slow, even on slow days, and pricing is a bit on the higher end but the food is pretty good and the coffee is decent.

Wonderful place in a running church or baby cathedral. Cutest organ you every saw. Performance stage. Nice good food at reasonable price. Parking lot!!! Very tasty macchiato. Clean wash closets. Ample outdoor seating. Surprisingly they have a barbeque setup and a fire ring going as well. With checking out. Close to most of the hip areas. All types of people as well.
