I enjoyed my experience at Brew Tulum! Almost all the food, beverages, and desserts on their menu is traditional Mexican food from the Yucatán, Mexico, which I have missed soooo much since my last trip to the Yucatán, Mexico.
The food was amazing, they offered a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the owner was enjoyable to talk to. This was my first time at Brew Tulum but it will not be my last!

I wasn’t quick enough to get the photo of the food when it came out, bc it was so good! Haha
The Mexican spiced coffee is amazing and we love how they explain the culture!

The black house coffee was incredible and not expensive (but wait for it to cool first!) Unique in that it was made in a Mexican press (olla). The flavor notes were chocolate with earthy spices and citrus, not too bitter. I am obsessed with the cascara tea. The food is beautiful and nutritious ($14 to $20). Staff were friendly and patient with my endless questions on a slow day.
They also have some pricey single origin roasts including some that are very "exclusive." One is so exclusive you have to ask for it a day in advance for a bespoke roast!
I tried the "Cafe de Olla" which is coffee with added spices like Cardamom. It tasted nice, but wasn't really for me with the large floating particles getting stuck in my throat. I also wasn't a huge fan of the "pink horchata" as it wasn't very sweet.
They handled the Saturday rush well.

I’ve been wanting to try this place since I first learned of it, and it not only met my expectations but far exceeded them! Between my partner and I we tried the café de olla, citrus zest, cazuelas, tlacoyos, and atole and every single item was fantastic. The service was attentive and informative and just overall lovely. The handmade nature of the food and beverages means it might take a bit, but it’s entirely worth it. I’m more than mildly obsessed with this place after my first visit and it will definitely be a “must do” for any out of town visitors!

This cafe is wonderful, it felt like we were on vacation far from St. Louis. The menu has unique coffee and food options that were delicious. It was a great spot to escape to.

Absolutely wonderful place! The coffee is extra special and the food is so fresh and authentic. The handmade corn tortillas and Mexican casserole was delish as well as the sopes. The dirty golden milk with espresso, coconut milk, and turmeric was heavenly. The owner is so warm, welcoming, personable, and busy working hard to please all the customers. Very highly recommended!

The staff was super friendly. I got the cafe de olla, which was tasty. To eat, I tried the cazuela. We waited a while for the food to come out, but it was so worth it. The dish was super flavorful! My friends really enjoyed their dishes, as well (enmoladas & enchiladas potosinas).

We had the cafe Turko and the cafe de olla: both were delightful and full of surprises. I highly recommend this place. Knowledgeable coffee loving experts can guide you on a coffee adventure! The Turko is an experience! The flavor, the velvet mouth feel! Worth a drive to get this coffee!!!!

Visited for just 2 drinks to go, I'm not exaggerating when I say it took a literal hour between walking in the door, receiving a hot chocolate and a latte and walking back out the door. The disorganization is on another level. Only one person can make the drinks and that person was in the kitchen? All that waiting and frustration for an average and unremarkable couple of drinks. If you value your time and sanity go anywhere else for "a specialty coffee experience" that's more concerned with sticking their fingers in your ice cream (witnessed this through their open kitchen) and licking their hands off than actually providing reasonable service.

Didn't get the chance to try it. One person working, gave us menus and never came back. By looking around it appears every table was waiting on either a bill, food, drinks. Another woman maybe the owner? was seen walking around but not helping.
In response to the owner- I apologize that you were short handed and don't have any front of house staff, 8 minutes feels like 30 minutes to people waiting -just to order a drink. As you did tell us about the kitchen, maybe a heads up on being short handed out front too. Some people don't have a long lunch hour and can't wait. Good luck. We will try back another day.
