The biscuits were very dry & hard, but the gravy was good. The hash browns were greasy and it tasted like they needed to change their grease.

Sat for 10min to be acknowledged. 4 empty tables so it was not even full in there. To be told it will be 30min before she can get to us. We asked for coffee she said it will be after she cleans the mugs.....walking out with another family. Don't want to server close the doors.

The country fried steak and hash browns were 5star but the eggs, French toast, and biscuits & gravy were more of 2 for us. Those things needed seasoning and were not cooked quite right some things over done a but some things soggy.

Passing through late night, park camper and grabbed some zz's. Then had breakfast before getting on road again. It was my kind of place. Friendly, good portions, great prices and great quality food. Would and will definitely do it again.

Great diner for breakfast in the St. James area. I've been there twice in the last two weeks, while in the area for a float trip. Friendly staff and good food. Everything I've tried here was good: crispy bacon, biscuits and gravy, french toast, scrambled eggs, crisp hash browns. If you're in the area and looking for breakfast, I'm not sure you'll find a better place than the Country Cafe. Easy recommendation, this will be my go-to when in the area.

Best biscuits and gravy I've ever had. Loved the pancakes. Friendly staff. My husband enjoyed the 3 cheese ham and cheese omelet. Definitely recommend.

Honest to goodness, no-frills home cooking in a clean and friendly atmosphere.
I had a burger and fries and it was delicious. The restaurant doesn't seem to have central air so it was a bit hot in there so keep that in mind. If you don't mind that then I highly recommend trying it.

I had breakfast. The wife had lunch. I couldnt find a thing to complain about. Food was best I've had in years. The pancakes were beat ever. But omg the homemade bread was amazing. But the waitresses were even better. Will be going back.
