Travellers House Coffee & Tea

Yum! Great coffee, great pastries and great service. Plus a relaxing atmosphere! Great place to get work done or just relax. It's located in the bottom floor of some apartments. Parking in the rear. We ordered a seasonal coffee, and a London fog tea, both with oat milk. As well as a maple pecan scone and an apple muffin, pictured. Yum.

Pretty cool place. Got a Carmel Latte and it was good. Loved the atmosphere. I can see why it’s a hangout.

Visited 2/17 - When I decided to stop in, I wasn't expecting to be impressed. A lot of coffee houses look nice but are disappointing. But this place is first rate. This is the first place in Springfield I've been in the 13 years I've lived here where the milk is steamed properly, including two other long time, popular coffee houses that I also love and visit frequently. This time, mid day, I opted for the "Sticky Chai"... (Highly recommend that if you enjoy a good chai latte). My drink was perfect, the place impeccably clean, and the crew working there very friendly and welcoming. I looked out of place, being a blue collar worker in jeans & work boots, but I know the coffee & tea business well, having worked in it myself. Though I wasn't a college professor or graduate student, and may have been a little dirty from work, I felt very welcome here. I'll definitely be visiting as often as I can.

I call and order what I’d like for pick up almost every morning and they are very friendly and prompt. My London Fog never disappoints. They also have a very chill atmosphere for studying or for a meeting place.

Took me 20mins to get a couple of coffee drinks! And she did not even bother to take my name while ordering as well as call me to get the them when they are ready! It prolly did not take her 20mins to prepare the drinks. They could be sitting on the counter for some time. Cause they were not hot at all!

Great opportunity to try another coffee shop across the street from Missouri State University. Instead of the Potter's House because I heard tell at the last minute it was closed! Great view of National Avenue and Missouri State University from indoors, and the atmosphere is beautiful and even contemporary for the late 2010s (this coffee shop is part of Boomer Town Studios, which opened in 2018).
They also brew really good coffee! As much, when I drink coffee here, I have a personal tradition of listening to certain contemporary music from the late 2010s, especially dream pop, which makes the perfect match with the atmosphere!

Great place to meet with friends and friendly staff, I would recommend it to anyone who likes Tea/Coffee.

So thankful for travelers and their staff!

For the past two years they have allowed us to us their location on Wednesday nights for our college ministry Young Adults. Travelers house has a great selection of drinks and food. My favorite coffee is the Arrive Early and if you’re feeling Tea, Nick always knows just what to make if you’re unsure.

If Nick(Big bearded guy probably wearing a Star Wars shirt) is ever working the front Counter go in and ask him “what’s good today” you won’t leave disappointed!

If you’re ever on the south side of Springfield stop by the location on Republic Road.
