Black Lab Coffee Co. Galloway

Black Lab is my favorite locally-owned coffee shop. The coffee is high-quality and they have a good variety of creative drinks. And they are dog friendly! Thebarista at the Galloway location last Monday was exceptional. I have recommended Black Lab to several friends - why go to a chain when you can shop local and have a better experience?

Legit the worst coffee shop experience I’ve had. The barista, Connor, was HIGH on something! He could not hold on a simple conversation. We ordered an avocado toast…easy enough right… apparently not. He brought us out a COLD burrito. We told him we ordered a avocado toast and he said “I know.” So he went back to make an avocado toast. He came out with a piece of bread with a concoction looking like salsa verde and 5 pieces of tomato!! We ended up telling him that did not look right but he said that this is NORMAL! He didn’t offer a refund or to make it better so we just left without eating. Normally I do not write any negative reviews but this experience warranted one.

The barista(unfortunately didn't get his name) easy going light hearted and friendly guy. Did a great job of welcoming us in and walking us through the menu and the options and with recommendations. He single handedly handled a rush of about 25 people, without losing his cool and still handling all questions! I am thoroughly impressed! He said he's only been at it for two weeks. I'll be back for sure!

This is my favorite coffee shop, I always recommend it. All the locations are great, awesome service, perfect atmosphere, delicious coffee and food.

Great experience! I tried the maple and walnut iced latte and it was delicious. Barista was very helpful. Nice decor. I would come again.

Great coffee shop. Friendly staff. Dog friendly. Puppuccinos for the four-legged customers. They give 5/5 Bones for unexpected snackies.

A nice place to take a break! Various flavors of lemonade and hot tea were tasty. The everything bagel was delicious, too. The eggs on the breakfast burrito had an odd texture, but the flavor was good. Liked the salsa, as well. The space was inviting, and the barrista friendly. We'll definitely be visiting again.

Great coffee and very friendly staff! Very cool little shop with with some very unique drinks to try. Great price, delicious coffee and super friendly staff! It is also right across the street from a park. What more could you ask for!
