Today was my first day going into this coffee shop. I ordered a chai so it was good, no worries there. I am more or less extremely upset with the way I was treated when I walked in. There were 3 people working, a girl and two guys, the girl was very kind to me but the two men working made me feel completely ignored when I walked up to the counter. And when I was ready to order they were chatting as I still felt pretty ignored like I wasn’t there. I was unaware of the sizes of the drinks when I ordered a medium, I went back in to just make sure that the size was correct and the man who spoke to me came off in a way like he was irritated that I came back in about the drink, which made me want to immediately leave. I was not expecting to come into a coffee shop I have never been into before and have the experience I just had. I hope customer service is better for other people because what I encountered this morning, was not it, and I will probably not be back because of it.

Fantastic coffee. Architect is truly knowledgeable about good coffee. Try their artisan offerings, it really is worth the price. They've done their due diligence to find truly the highest quality, artisan roasted beans available. What they offer is not just good "because it's craft" it's some of the best of what craft coffee roasting has to offer. Coffee aside, they're espresso drinks are fantastic, and their pasties are too notch. They're busy for a reason folks!

The coffee shop at French Quarter Plaza in the heart of South Springfield that replaced Hebrews Coffee, with which I now associate the contemporary classic Disney film Zootopia, a staple of my nostalgia for 2016, the year it premiered in theaters and later DVD.
Hebrews closed in 2018, and Architect opened in 2019 to fill in for it.

I liked this place. Well decorated and clean. I was impressed at the options of food and noticed the staff working together very well. I think they may be a family owned business and I like that. Fiid was very good we had the Brown Sugar poptart and a Bacon Egg Cheese Croissant a iced coffe and a Lavender, Honey coffee. All of it was super good. Good job! Loved seeing a family working together.

Cortado was good. They use moderately bitter blend.

I love this shop! It is definitely top tear in every area, the atmosphere and athletic is great. Most importantly the customer service is awesome and coffee is flavorful and delicious. My favorite is the chai latte!
Architect has great hours and has a great little lounge area if that’s your style. Need to have a meeting? Reserve the back room! Overall ONE of the best places in Springfield.
