the only middle eastern restaurant and food market you can find in rolla

I wish I could give a more positive review as I was looking forward to trying a local coffee shop during a long, late drive with limited options at 10pm. However, despite the hours listed both online and in the window of the shop (open until 11pm), we were turned away by a person sitting at one of the tables at 10:20, though the doors were unlocked and there was a crowd of people sitting down. Would have been less frustrating had we not specifically gotten off the highway to go to this coffee shop and avoid gas station dirt water.

Clean modern cafe with selection of sandwiches and drinks, tea, coffee, smoothies. The beef kabob was only 4.35 and pretty tasty, tea was 3.55. Not a bad lunch! I love the grocery attached, lots to look at for someone who’s never most of this stuff. A bit noisy between the radio, kitchen/blender and TV.

"UNDER NEW MANGEMENT." Unfortunately, that means even though their sign reads "Open - 12:00 Noon," (guess they don't comprehend the need for caffeine any earlier in the day) when I showed up at 12:45 seeing the new owner just then unlocking the front door, she informed me: "It will be another half hour before the espresso machine is warmed up."

I loved The Coffee Mine, which was a tad away from the beaten path in Rolla, but was a great coffee shop with a huge variety.

Sadly, now the only local option is funding corporate - which, as always, results in receiving the typical greed-based, overpriced, inferior product.

"Next stop - Starbucks." ☹

A Real coffee shop in Rolla! There were lots of people there eating the Friday buffet, it smelled good. I got a cafe mocha and it was good considering where I was and the server was friendly. The inside is definitely rough and could use and upgrade.

It was a very dirty cafe restaurant. The plastic forks that you need to use them if you wanna dine in were covered in dead bugs🥵. Don’t let the pictures fool you!

Finally, a coffee shop near campus with a great aesthetic and plenty of room to enjoy your coffee and study in peace. The espresso machine is high-tech, and the treats, teas, and coffee offerings are as authentic as it gets. I definitely recommend the white mocha for anyone unsure about switching coffee shops!

The baristas are kind. I accidently left my card at the register when I left. They found me on Facebook within the hour using a professional account.

Edit: I'm not sure what's been going on lately, but my usual coffee has become very inconsistent. Sometimes it tastes too sweet, other times it tastes like bad water. I brought this up with a few baristas, and they didn't seem surprised. The lack of consistency and standard recipes isn't something I look forward to.

Stopped by after dinner for a Turkish coffee and basbousa (sweet cake). The decor is minimal and might add a little to the atmosphere if dressed up, but the coffee was good, the basbousa was different (in a good way), and the barista was friendly. Moderate selection of warm beverages and desserts.

I like this small warm place! Perfect for the Fall coffee and delicious cookies! Sesame chikki is my favorite snack!
