Went there in on a Tuesday night. We were only 1 of 6 tables. Ordered 2 soups and 2 pasta dishes. After over 30 min our waitress came back and said they didn’t have the ingredients for my pasta dish. So I ordered a replacement pasta dish.

After another 30 min with no food I went to ask for a manager. The manger apologized and said that they had some new staff and that our meal should be coming shortly. He even thought our meals were sitting on the window. Which part of them were.

Another 10+ minutes and we were served cold flavorless pasta and warm soup. The only thing that had some decent flavor was the fries and glazed carrots.

We were then offered free dessert and a 10% discount. When I spoke to the manager again he stated that he was new as well and didn’t know what else he could do as he didn’t know the system. After he called his manager they offered a larger discount.

We will not be returning again.

Family loved this place. Easy access to connecting road. Clean and a very friendly staff. In fact my wife felt so bad, because the son of the owner waited on us, was extremely friendly and socially engaging she forgot to leave a tip. But, about three hours later we drove back to this restaurant and she almost had to "force" him to take the tip!! Nice selection of food and beverages.

We told our other family members and they visited the restaurant prior to leaving and enjoyed it as well.

Will definitely revisit when we return to Poplar Bluff within the next three weeks.

Very nice atmosphere. The staff took the time to explain the menu options, as it was our first time. Their chicken and dumpling soup is so so so good. I also tried their turkey croissant sandwich and just wow. Hot chocolate is delicious. I would absolutely return.

They took away all the good stuff from the "dinner" menu. Everything was pricey. My husband didn't even end up getting food. It's not The Bread Company anymore. They were so much better. 😭 I gave two stars because the waitress was really nice and helped me find the one and only vegetarian dish on the menu.

Good menu, everything we ordered was tasty. There was only one vegetarian dinner option though, and I didn't feel like gnocchi. Plating could use a little work- my salad was on a plate so tiny that bits of lettuce fell onto the table every time I took a bite. But solid, generous meal offerings and creative choices (if you eat meat). Attractive dessert options too. I'd give it 4.5 if I could.

We stopped here because the exterior decor caught our eye.
We weren't sure what to expect as far as service goes. At the lunch hour when we arrived it was an "order at the counter and they bring it to your table" time.
I ordered a club type sandwich on sourdough. Very good. (Forgot to ask others about their food)
Service was fast and wait staff friendly.

Bad service. They posted a special steak dinner online and I came in about 10 minutes after it was posted. They apparently only had 2 from what my wife and I were told by a server and they were already sold. We then ordered 2 burgers and 2 grilled cheeses and it took an hour to get our food. They were not busy, there were maybe 5 tables occupied. We had noticed the decline in service the previous time we were in there but this time it was beyond acceptable, and this used to be our favorite place to eat in PB. Their entrees and sides are so unpredictable on what they will have from 1 visit to another. We won’t be back.

Probably better place at in the evening or at night. But it was kind of quiet and kind of way open during the day. I like the place though and I should return

Nice variety of burgers and other menu items Helpful staff, prompt service even though only one server was working. I had the Wyatt Burger(it was very good and the fries stayed crispy even drowned in yummy Queso) and a tasty bloody mary.
