St. George’s Donuts

This place makes fantastic doughnuts. Delicious, fresh. They have talent. So on taste a 5 star rating. Getting their donuts is another matter entirely. They say they close at 2p, but if youre not getting your treat by 9am - youll be choosing from a severely limited selection - obviously the less desirable selections.

Ive went in mutilple times past 9am and have experienced this. First world problems I know, but heres the fuctional bottom line. It appears, the owners are making a business decision to keep overhead low at the cost of not offering a consistent selection and what customers want - I understand the calculus, but definitely tells you where the customer ranks in their equation.

Very delicious, homemade taste, not like other donut places! Very friendly staff.

Still the best donuts in the Ozarks, no contest. Great apple fritters. Cake donuts are their wheelhouse, but the raised donuts are also very good.

Fantastic donuts, and a perfect location. This a company that has an owner who truly cares about his customers, and I'll be thrilled to eat there again this week! Happy to have a donut shop in my little town again!

It is alright. I am not sure if the experience is better if you get there in the morning. I can only make it in the afternoon. Your experience may vary.

Stopped by this morning for my first visit. I was very disappointed. At 9am there was almost no donut selection and the female employee who helped me was extremely rude and unhelpful. I’ve always heard good things, but I was extremely disappointed and underwhelmed by my visit.

St. George's donut are the only place that I like. The donuts are always soft and delicious. Edgewood creamery milk is also very tasty. My favorite breakfast is this place by far
