I almost overlooked this place, then on a whim we went in to try it out. So glad we did. Fantastic, artisanally-roasted Ethiopian coffee, brewed by hand. The couple who owns the shop is originally from Ethiopia but has been in the states for nearly 25 years. They seem to specialize in medium light roasts, which means the quality of the beans and the talent of the roaster and Brewer have to be top-notch... No room for error like with darker roasts. The coffee is fantastic enough to drink without anything else in it, but they're there milk-based espresso drinks like lattes and macchiatos are extremely well made as well. Definitely worth the trip in! Oh, and they said that a portion of the profits from sales of whole bags go towards helping poor Ethiopian farmers.

My favorite coffee shop for both great espresso and freshly roasted beans. I’ve been enjoying this coffee for over a year and have never been disappointed

Always great coffee and outstanding customer service, a must try in Maryland Heights, MO.

I ordered the highly recommended Ethiopian Macchiato and it is now my new favorite drink! The pastries were delicious and well priced. The customer service was excellent, the cafe area and bathrooms were very clean and the ambiance was welcoming and relaxing. We will definitely be returning customers!

My husband and I make it a point to try every coffee shop we can, and this is hands down the best coffee we've had in the St. Louis/ St. Charles area. Highly recommend

Awesome little spot in Maryland Heights. The specialty coffee drinks are incredible, and the atmosphere is chill.

Excellent coffee. I had the Milky way (iced) and the wife had the Ethiopian Macchiato. Both were very, very good.

I judge a coffee shop on its cappaccino, as there's something in its simplicity that lets quality and skill shine. I've been all over St. Louis, and this is the first place I've found that's made a great cup, and consistently!
They're also super friendly here, more than willing to chat coffees and such. I feel like I'd be here all the time if I lived a bit closer and there wasn't a pandemic at the moment, haha.
They also have a decent selection of roasts for sale. Their Ethiopian Sidamo is perfectly fruity; I could drink it all day!
Google Maps screwed me over, which is why I ended up here accidentally. So glad I did! I'll be stopping by anytime in in the area, and I suggest you give them a try too!

I had no idea this little local coffee shop existed in maryland heights! I am thrilled to have found it. Great coffee and perfect if you want a quiet place to study or read too.

I had an Ethiopian Macchiato. I dug it. Good stuff. Nice lady behind the counter too.
