A nice little stop in Maplewood to get coffee in the area. However, my companion and I wanted to study and stay but there is actually very little seating and the staff were very noisy with chatting and laughter. I get not a lot of seating due to the size and layout of the restaurant (and after all we did have a place to sit- provably not on a crowded day tho), but the noisy-ness of the staff was definitely a bit much especially with my companion and I not being the only guests trying to study in at least mildly quiet conditions.
The noise and seating issues aside, we very much enjoyed the coffee, the chocolate bars, and our time there. They have some fun lattes for the season and extra props as well for having the roaster right there in store and the grinding as well, you know you’re getting a quality cup of coffee that is made right from start to finish right before your eyes. Keep up the good work, just maybe quiet down a little!

The quality of their coffee is superb! Ordered the latte, the taste was very smooth, freshly roasted. Had to wait a bit though. We also bought some breads from the bakery inside the cafe, which is kind of interesting combination. Will definitely come back for their in-house roasted beans another time.

Four stars, due to the tasty combination of having a Great Harvest Bread company in the same space as the coffee shop.
The barista was very pleasant and friendly, but the double shot of espresso itself was underextracted. The flavor was very weak and off-balance, suggesting channeling, a cold portafilter or group or simply very poor flow control. I do believe the coffee itself is capable of delivering a great cup, I just didn't get to experience that.
A very bike friendly and bike accessible location, I will visit again, hoping for a better coffee.

Our favorite place for fresh coffee and friendly smiles in the Lou!
The coffee is roasted on location using single-origin, fair-trade coffee. Their seasonal drinks are fun and delicious, as are their regular offerings. The Brown Bear is my favorite summer treat, and I look forward to the Maple Bourbon Latte in the winter. We love their annual coffee club program also!

We hired the La Cosecha Coffee Truck for our wedding and it was absolutely amazing!! We hired them for the 2 hours before the ceremony for all of our vendors and our guests when they arrived to grab a caffeine kick before the festivities! Greg was so kind and responsive and had so much information and pricing up front. He was clear and communicative and we came up with the perfect plan. The truck pulled up a little early and they got busy to work! The drinks were amazing, the service was amazing, and our guests were absolutely floored at this special treat! It truly made our wedding day perfect. We can't wait to get the pics back!

My favorite coffee shop! Their lattes were always my favorite out of every where i’d go, I didn’t know why until I figured out it’s their espresso that’s different than everywhere else and so good. I had a latte elsewhere and it was just as good but I found out it was because they used LC espresso for their lattes!
The girls who work there are great, very friendly and make great drinks.

We love LC! We first got hooked when they brought their coffee truck to 9 Mile Garden a couple summers ago. We live in south county, but it’s worth the hike to Maplewood for a quality cup of coffee! Everyone there is super friendly. They sell a variety of fun gear and freshly roasted beans. If you happen to be there while they’re roasting it smells amazing! I love their oatmeal latte - it 100% tastes like a bowl of oatmeal with brown sugar! The canned snap chill coffee is also delicious. Maplewood location is small but cozy, and they share the space with Great Harvest if you need a snack to go with your coffee.

La Cosecha is a nice little spot to hang out with friends, grab a quick cup to go, or take homework for some peaceful study time! The baristas are the friendliest baristas in town and they learn names quickly! Every time I come in I can be sure of a conversation about any and all things with a barista. Love this place! Also they sell fair trade coffee and drinks! 5 Stars cause they tick all the boxes! Friendly, nice environment, good coffee, and great place!

I was really excited about trying La Cosecha. I normally judge coffee shops off their lattes or Cortados, but I biked there and needed something cold so I got a nitro. It was pretty flat and just didn’t taste great. They had to switch out the canisters in the middle of the pour so I’m sure that didn’t help. I really wish I had gotten a sidecar, latte, or Cortado instead, but based on the nitro I got, I can’t give it better than 3 stars. If I come back, I’ll get something else and update my review accordingly. The staff was very friendly, at least.

They offer the BEST coffee and we love the convenience of being able to order ahead and pick-up!
