Vested Garment District Coffee

I came for the pop tarts, I stayed for the friendly people. Great coffee, too!

So there I was, in the middle of a strange land at a strange pandemic time, and I had a wicked craving for coffee. So I pull out my trusted handheld computer and search for coffee places close to me. Lo and behold, this place shows up as the highest rated coffee joint I think I've ever seen. I read a couple of the reviews, scanned their menu, and headed there to partake.

Mind you, it's -11 degrees outside, so this better be some great coffee.

Walked inside and found incredible ambience with a minimalistic design and a welcoming atmosphere. Masks required and everyone was great at wearing them correctly. I was greeted by a friendly barista, and after a couple questions, ended up getting the onyx delight. At first sip, I think I saw the heavenly gates open to welcome me. I think this is the best coffee I've ever had. Perfect combo of cinnamon, vanilla, and honey, all mixed with amazing coffee. Seriously, the taste is like an out of body experience.

Awesome coffee, service, and decor. The pour over was exceptionally smooth & the pop tart was amazing. Some of best coffee I’ve ever had!

Atmosphere is so welcoming with friendly staff that are happy and laughing, enjoying their time serving coffee to the customers. The older but young looking couple attended the customers and made sure they were taken care of and properly greeted everyone who came into the door. The two young ladies making the coffee are very efficient and effective when working together. The coffee itself was delightful and enlightening, the taste and temperature was what it should be for a coffee. The desert was scrumptious and who cannot resist a pumpkin scone during the season time. I highly recommend stopping by and giving these folks a try.

Lovely atmosphere, warm wood, decent working spaces, and a sunny environment. Not to mention the coffee is fantastic with their beans sourced from the popular Onyx -- I consistently get the Onyx Delight here. The owner(s) and staff here are also exceedingly kind and welcoming.

The ONLY con is that their wi-fi can be really spotty on my every visit here where I've lost internet connection for several minutes at a time. If they fixed this, this place would be perfect.

One of the cutest shops tucked away in a gorgeous building just off Broadway! Always clean, open, and great for sitting and working for awhile. The owners and all the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful.
The drinks are always amazing and I definitely recommend the Iced Onyx with oat milk (:

Welp! That's the fastest I've ever known a place deserved a 5 star review. From the very moment the door opened I was greeted and the guy at the counter was VERY patient, friendly, and helpful. Made me feel like a regular! As I enjoyed the delicious hot Onyx drink, I also had a wild berry pop tart which was delicious. I'm from out of town so I'm not sure how well known Vested is, but it truly felt like a gem of a coffee shop. I very highly recommend checking it out!

Really pretty and calming cafe, the pastries looked super fresh and delicious. I'd love to try them all. Service is fantastic. We had their speciality onyx latte which was so warming in the early morning. Perfect for this great weather. My husband usually orders extra sweet flavoured coffee and tends to go back as its not made correctly, but at Vested coffee there was no need to go back. Definitely a plus for his particular taste buds. I had the rosemary and walnut scone. It was well made and the texture was really good. My only problem was the rosemary flavour wasn't there at all, though you can see flecks of rosemary. I also didn't think the icing was necessary, i wish they made this more savory as the dough was also sweet. Id have it again if they improved the recipe. Other than that, a great place! Will definitely be back.
