Legitimately the best coffee in all of KC. Get the bourbon vanilla iced coffee. You’ll be hooked.

Amazing coffee made by a very good roaster. Would definitely recommend anyone in the area to give it a try and bring home a neat cup!

Hands down the best cup of coffee I have ever tasted. Highly recommend the Vanilla Bourbon. It is a coffee flavor that is bold and unexpected but tastes delicious.
The sustainable business model is also very appealing and your coffee is served in a glass jar that you bring back to swap out with a clean one when you go back to get your next cup of coffee! This is a must if you are a coffee lover and are in Kansas City!

Cute spot! The Vanilla Burbon coffee is SO good! The vegan cinnamon roll was good though probably better warm. The donuts looked awesome too.

A spectacular find south of downtown. In-house roasting, great atmosphere, knowledgeable staff, and most importantly, fantastic coffee. They also had a large selection of beans to purchase for home which doubles as souvenirs. Food menu was subtle but managed to hit the spot for a savory breakfast. I would recommend this place for any coffee appreciators.

Oddly is a really cute and funky coffee shop and roaster. They offer a wide selection of single origin coffee and tasty blends for your daily home brews. The space is neatly decorated. I love the weird art on the walls. For a third wave coffee shop, the espresso was good. It had the standard dark cherry chocolate notes you’d expect from an espresso blend. I was hoping for more adventurous espresso shot options.

I also wanted to include details related to how they’re operating because of COVID. Compared to other businesses Oddly does a great job establishing and following procedures to protect both their guests and employees. They respectfully shared the simple rules with all guests and politely enforced them! I’m really happy to see how management has been operating and really happy to support this local business.

They limit the number of people in the cafe at one time to protect their guests and employees. All drinks are offered in to go style cups (jars + koozie) with a 1 dollar deposit. If you bring back the jar/koozie, you can have your dollar back. You’re allowed to enjoy your drink in the shop but you have a 10 min limit. After each guest leaves they clean up the area and disinfect it for the next patron. During the purchase and card exchange, our barista kept a nice distance and handled the transaction and tip on the screen per our instructions.

I'm probably not the right person to review this place. Its definitely a hipster bar... but my experience went a bit like this... walked in, very nicely decorated, menu items are extremely hard to find/read/differentiate.

A very well dressed hipster behind the bar finally took pity on me and just asked me what I wanted, at which point I replied tea. He oh so kindly pointed me to the small print tea selections they offer, squished together on one small board.

I blurted out the first two teas I saw in an effort to not hold anyone up. He wrung me up and then told me it would be ready in a few minutes. I think he got distracted with other people, or things, or like... the planets rotation or something but anyway I waited for 17 minutes and finally received my teas (to go).

The tea, and well I guess any to go beverage (i learned later) come in cute little glass jars (to save the planet!) with a beer coozy on them so that the glass that feels like molten lava to the bare hand now only feels like you've held your hand on the stove a bit too long.

The tea was fine. I dare-say tasty. But overall, of a similiar quality to homemade made microwave tea.

In the end, it didnt seem worth the 17$ I spent there, but hey a dollar per minute of waiting is probably the industry standard.

Delish coffee and donuts! Totally hipster. Makes you want to dust off the flannel, grow out the Jesus beard, and pop on those thick-rimmed specs. It's time to grab a cold brew and discuss woodworking in an urban environment. Where's the maker space!? This coffee shop was a real treat for us. Recommend.

Great service and drinks. Just the right size place. Didn't plan on going until my friend said turn around and let's go, no regrets! They have no sugar or creamer if it's a must in your coffee, still good stuff.

Very cute coffee shop, exactly what you want from a small coffee joint. Great small-ish menu with all the coffee classics and a few specialty drinks which have homemade syrups (as far as I could tell). I had the bourbon vanilla latte and it was super yummy and unique. Would definitely come again.
