This was my first time for a business meeting at Mother Earth. It's a wonderful space with easy parking and is quiet enough for a good conversation. They also have a yummy selection of breakfast pastries and beverage options.

Great coffee, great atmosphere. I've never not found a table or had a great cup. You don't feel bad sitting with some work on your laptop. Highly recommend.

Pros: Friendly staff, great location/atmosphere :)
Cons: They might as well not have wifi. We live in a Google Fiber city, so please don't offer dial-up speed (seriously, it didn't even hit 1 Mbps!). I had to leave because of this. The coffee was okay.

One of my favorite coffee shops in the city! Really centralized location, good food options, lots of natural light, and quick service

Great space and great coffee! It’s in a nice area to take a stroll with or after your coffee too

I've gone in four or five times -- gotten a carmel americano every time and it has been consistently delicious. I've hung out and done some work once -- wifi worked well, people coming and going but nothing too distracting and super great music playing over the speakers. Also, love that I can walk to it from my home.

The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The beverages were at the right temperature and full bodied. The employees are friendly, accommodating. They make it a great place to relax.

I have been coming here consistently since it has been opened. Unfortunately that will no longer be the case. I stopped in yesterday and ordered a latte with no foam. As I was waiting for my latte the barista on bar along with some of her friends across the counter immediately started mocking my order. Stating things like, "a latte already has no foam and I was confusing it with a cappuccino and that I should have just ordered it as a latte". As a matter of fact, a latte does have foam. The ratio however is signifacntly less than a cappuccino but alas it is still there. Once the barista started steaming, she immediately aerated the milk which is what gives it foam. To have a latte with no foam, you would leave the steam wand submerged the entire time without bringing it to the surface.
So, first of all, if you are going to be hateful, absolutely do not ever do it in front of a customer. (also a regular)
And second, know what you are talking about.
I was a barista for years in a reputable shops.
The baristas at mother earth work on an automatic machine so they don't even have to worry about pulling a quality shot as it is done for them. I would recommend that they focus more on learning how to properly steam their milk and maybe some customer service.

This place has really taken off. Unless I'm doing it wrong, parking can be a challenge. Modern, sleek yet somewhat earthy. When going to throw away your stuff, most things are recyclable or compostable, but their cups are trash, and their is no sign saying it. They have plenty of power outlets, and many have usb built in.
(Not sure about internet. The router says mobile... "leader in 4g", but the back end shows Google fiber. It is almost as slow as dialup. the firewall is definitely keeping you from getting Google speeds). I literally saw images load line by line.

Super nice atmosphere, areas to study, and great coffee!
