Staff was helpful in helping me pick a tea. Offered to make an iced tea for one that’s only served hot. Friendly staff. Quaint quiet place. Indoor/outdoor seating. Lovely!

This is a small-footprint Plaza outpost of the excellent local roaster Messenger Coffee. It is exciting to see them take this location, bringing top-quality coffee to the Plaza. The menu and quality is typical of Messenger's high standards, with many good coffees, smoothies, and other drinks. They have a limited selection of baked goods from the affiliated bakery Ibis. Indoor seating is good but somewhat limited by the small size. There is excellent patio seating, which should have good shade in the morning and mid-day, but will be sunny in the late afternoon.

Great espresso with classy presentation. Lacking one star because sadly the eggs are not farm fresh. Sad, but delicious nonetheless. Would have been a three star, BUT the barista said gorgeous after I ordered. It made me smile. Delivering a smile to someone that early in the morning deserves an Oscar. Great location, which is why the expectations were high, if I had been downtown this would be a five, but it’s the plaza! Come on! I’m supposed to feel like I’m in Spain. Farm fresh, cracked eggs in the kitchen, whisk beating against a bowl. I’ll pay $15 for the experience of sound any day. Instead the dull ‘brrrrr’ of whatever those super microwave machines are called.

I absolutely love Messenger Coffee. All of the locations I've been to are excellent. The one on Jefferson is my local, the one in Crossroads with the Ibis Bakeru does the best cinnamon bun I've ever eaten and the one on W47th St is a great place to meet people, in particular in the summer. The team are lovely, friendly and make the place. The Coffee is my favourite in KC

This is a lovely location for a sunny place to enjoy your coffee. It's on the smaller side so you might not find seating, but I actually haven't had that problem in the couple afternoons that I went. There is a good nook of outdoor seating too for when it is warmern.

Fair warning, easy to get addicted and may change your existing relationship with Starbucks. Their coffee is spot on and the various concoctions are downright delicious and taste good even with low to no sugar. Wonderful ambience, definitely worth multiple stops or daily if your wallet permits it.

I was rudely asked to leave because I brought my dog in with me. Please consider posting a SERVICE ANIMALS ONLY sign on your front door. After all, you are located in a well known dog friendly shopping area, yet dogs are not allowed. Also, just be nice.

Delicious coffee and wonderful service! The staff was helpful in figuring out what this out-of-towner really wanted. One of the best caramel lattes I've ever had!

Came here on vacation, instantly my eye loved the look of this place and the blueberry almond smoothie on the menu. Very good vibe and chic! The smoothie is amazing. Not what I expect but VERY good.

Far better vanilla latte then the chains. I could actually taste the espresso and the drink wasn't overly sweet like you get a lot of places. Having owned a coffee shop I would rate this place very high for quality and taste.
