My favorite afternoon work spot. Cozy and welcoming. It lacks the pretension of other coffee shops that intimidate the customer with esoteric and status-envious menus. But its selections still surprise. The crowd is eclectic, but the consistent pop-ins by regulars should tell you that this place inspires loyalty. I’ve overheard people discussing Mozart, community organizing, entrepreneurship, the best burrito places in KC, and the philosophical implications of Shel Silverstein’s work. Keep it up Crow’s. Good coffee shops are an under-appreciated requirement for livable cities and open societies.

It was an ecclectic group of patrons. Which made the atmosphere tense. I was verbally reprimanded by a man. For coughing and or clearing my throat to often or something like that. There is no mandate in Waldo or KC metro. The establishment does still have their mask mandate signage on the door. I oblige the request..... Don't get lost on the mask thing. No one on staff seemed concerned about it. Said nothing, didn't ask how I was, didn't ask how he was from what I gathered. All in all it really did make me feel a lot of mixed emotions. I said sorry. And removed myself from the coffee shop ( making sure that my ask was on..)

The blueberry muffin was doable for the size and price.

The drip coffee was probably just under the temperature of the surface of the sun.

I'm probably not going to return for awhile. It just didn't make me feel like I can relax and enjoy my morning time in solidarity... With the volume level of my coughing. Lol

Very disappointed. This was our second try with Crows. We had hoped our first visit was simply an anomaly with shop just having an off day.. Unfortunately, the coffee was again too strong, lukewarm and bitter. In addition there were zero snack/food options for a person with gluten free dairy free dietary restrictions. We will not be returning.

Always good coffee and good vibes. I definitely enjoy the single seats because they are very comfy to just go in and read.
The location is very warm (temperature wise) and definitely a cool restroom!

I have not been to the other locations, but this one has a very chill atmosphere that was easy to relax in. I had iced coffee which was very delicious. My companions had a croissant that was warmed and shared. It was amazing and warming is recommended.

Best breakfast burrito and tasty cold brew coffee. The staff has a great attitude and there is plenty of indoor/outdoor seating. Great place to sit and chat, work or wait to bump into someone you know!

A new baker is at the shop and the baked goods are now at a much higher level, they’re great! The coffee of course is strong and flavorful as always andThe wait staff are pleasant and efficient as always. The crow is one of those places that define an area and Waldo is very lucky to have one.

My London Fog was fantastic. They were decently busy but kept up with making drinks!

Good, though their wifi has issues with some corporate VPN connections.

I’ve only been here twice and have never been super impressed with their customer service. I came in today with my husband and the barista with long brown hair and side bangs was super snarky and condescending. I asked a question about their card machine and she replied with, “yup you’re a genius”.She has made previous snarky comments as well. After today, I will not be returning.
