Cute little shop, really good food and drink. The music was bland and the baristas were on their phones but I'm sure that's like all coffee shops. Nice decor and the bathroom graffiti is hilarious. Good parking lot. Lots of indoor and outdoor seating. I really liked the drink and the poptart I got

Joanna Sounds like a real Karen; pay no mind to her absurd review--there is no way the baristas would ever be less than kind (I can't even imagine them getting provoked), and they craft lattes especially well--nice little art too!
Moreover, the atmosphere is great-local paintings on display and on sale to boot, every item I've tried is of considerably better quality than any chain, the staff is always friendly and helpful. For example, I asked if they off-hand knew the Calories in their mocha, but stated it's okay if they didn't know--yet, two of them immediately worked together to find the answer quickly. On that note, I highly recommend the mocha; it is perfectly bittersweet everytime--not the sugar bombs I'm always disappointed with.

Loved the atmosphere! The patio is so nice and homey! Family friendly as well. Saw a dad that brought his two children in and books were available for the kids to read. Another couple playing a board game.

Truly the best! Great customer service, excellent coffee and wonderful environment! You feel like family there. The baked treats are fresh, delicious and there is something for everyone here!

Hands-down, my favorite coffee shop EVER. I've only had the White Mocha but it is perfect. It doesn't taste cheap, syrupy or watered down like so many other places. They also have a frequent buyer card, so be sure to ask for one!
They are pet friendly and even have a vending machine of pet treats from Beer Paws, a local Kansas City company.
Be sure to try something from their bakery section! Tasty and homemade in KC!

Completely open to air; yet cannot go in even with social distancing. Won't take cash. I told him that money has always been dirty. The cashier told me no cash because "we don't have time to wash our hands between customers. It's our policy." Yet, they touch the point of sale that all of the customers touch when using their credit cards. I won't go back. I should be able to use legal tender. And they should make time to wash their hands.

Very pleasant environment. Coffee sets the bar high. I enjoyed a hot Americano. Highly recommended.

The coffee and espresso is very good quality. Their flavor syrups are homemade. The interior is very nice with lots of outdoor seating and the main window opens up and lets in fresh air amd light and makes it feel really open. Soon they will be selling alcoholic drinks. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I think the drinks are very overpriced. I could probably only afford to come here once a week, a 16 oz iced latte with syrup is over $5 with tax.

I love this coffeeshop—wonderful coffee, nice people, cute atmosphere. However, the music being played killed the whole experience. I totally understand that everyone has different tastes in music but this music was up so loud that we could not hold a normal conversation. It was techno/house music that was so intense that we had to move tables to get further away from the speakers. Also, it was early on a Saturday morning. I definitely believe the baristas should play music they like, but I also feel it should be a variety of music genres. This is a coffeeshop where people were trying to relax and talk with friends but the beat-dropping music did not allow for it.

I've been thinking about writing a review about this coffee shop for a while now, but wanted to give it several tries before doing so because the first experience was not stellar. I like to give businesses the benefit of the doubt so I wanted to try it a couple more times.
Here are my observations:
1- Every time I have visited, the staff seems indifferent to my presence as a customer. They weren't rude but they also weren't especially excited that another paying customer had just entered the building. They served me and made a decent product, but I typically get a much more cheerful greeting at just about any Scooters Coffee and for sure at Hi Hat at 51st and State Line. Seems like the folks doing the hiring and training need to spend a little more time on the customer experience. In all cases, whether it's Crow's, Scooters or Hi Hat, the staff are on the younger side, but the other two do a better job of helping their staff make the customer feel welcome.
Added after reading other reviews - Zach et al at Crow's. You guys seem to have issues with your hiring profile. I highly recommend that you take these negative customer service reviews very seriously. If it isn't rectified, you will have little to no repeat business. And you know what that means...
2- I like a couple of things at a coffee shop; the ability to have a little whipped cream with my beverage, and the option to have a cold blended drink from time to time. Unless something has recently changed, neither of these are available. I've asked at each visit for whipped cream and the staff tells me, "We don't have any." So I'd suggest they add a blender or two and a few cold blended drinks to the menu, and go out and buy some whipped cream. Even the stuff in the can would be better than not having it available at all.
Finally, let me say that I really want Crow's to be a place I look forward to visiting. It's an important component to the redevelopment of the Red Bridge Shopping Center. All businesses there need to perform at a high level over the long haul to make sure RB stays alive and doesn't drift back to where it used to be. Nice building face lifts and new asphalt are just part of what it takes to revive an old worn out shopping area, and the developer has definitely done a great job in that respect. And there are some great new businesses, like Caleb's, that are doing well.
I'd like to challenge the management of Crow's to step it up a notch or two and make sure they are a part of the success of the revitalized Red Bridge center.
So I will make a commitment to drop by at least a couple more times to see if anything has changed. But I'll wait a bit to give them time to work through these issues.
