A truly delightful, classy and casual neighborhood coffee shop located in the unique historic Northeast neighborhood of Pendelton Heights:) Tasty beverages and a variety of eats.

Very good food and great coffee. I got a regular drip coffee, and it was very well balanced. My wife got a London fog, and she said it was among the best she had ever had. Lox on an everything bagel was delicious (what I got), and my wife enjoyed her avocado toast. Service was friendly and efficient.

The staff at Splitlog are great. This is by far my favorite coffee shop. Love that it's right in my neighborhood. And the coffee is incredible, rivaled only by Oddly Correct in KC.

This is an excellent place with a nice environment. The coffee is above average, at prices that are typical for any coffee shop. The avocado toast is amazing, and there is a very high chance that I will go back during breakfast hours just for that and a cup of coffee. Also, the staff are all very friendly, and very competent at making whatever coffee drinks you could want.
So why 4 instead of 5 stars? Two small reasons: Firstly, I had the turkey sandwich for lunch, and neither I nor my friend liked it. Second, the WiFi kept going in and out; apparently it was an issue they'd been having for the last two days. Neither of these are big issues; there are other lunch options that looked great, and I'm sure they'll have the WiFi fixed soon – but it is something to be noted for now.
I very much look forward to going back!

Split log is one of my favorite shops in the KC area. One specific area they thrive in is friendliness and hospitality! Today, I went here for a study break and after I finished my coffee, one of the workers asked me if I wanted a cup of water! Though a small act, it made me feel like I was a guest in someone’s home!
