Yanis Coffee Zone

I ordered a slushie. What I got was some sugary liquid with a bit of ice floating in it. Worst slushie ever. No effort was put into making it. The food is okay at best, and I say that only because middle eastern/greek cuisine isnt for me.

- Adding an edit to the review because I can't reply to the owner's response. They are saying that they "don't even serve slushies ". Well, the item was on the menu and there was even a giant poster advertising the item in the store! So, how did I get a slushie? I can only guess that the owner is lying to cover up a negative review, which is pretty shady. I will 100% NEVER come back to this business.

This is a very popular place to congregate for small groups and close friends, for coffee or other social, non-alcohlic, drinks and meals or snacks. Very Greek in flavor with some American touches mixed in. My personal favorite is the Spinach Pie with Hummus.

Coffee and food were superb, what really stood out was the friendly, quick and attentive staff.

I was a little let down being a frozen coffee drinker. They only had two choices, vanilla and mocha and they couldn't add shots of espresso to it. So I opted instead for an iced coffee with two shots. Not impressed with the coffee but it will do better than Starbucks.

This is one of the most authentic places on downtown. Home made falafel is incredible. Like many, I am addicted to their bold coffee: rocket fuel.

Always great service and great food options. It's kind of a hidden gem for lunch or breakfast. Great place to meet up and have a coffee or a meal with a friends and co-workers.

Glad they where open on Memorial Monday. Had Rocket fuel and baclava how could I go wrong. Both just great.

Owner, Yanis is one of the best people one could meet. Great baristas who know what they are doing. The "Rocket Fuel" is an excellent kick start to any morning or afternoon.
