What a coffee shop! Let me start by saying I didn't try the coffee. However, I had fallen terribly ill the night before I went and the honey ginger tea brought me back to life. I ordered the same thing the next day and the lady remembered my order! My friend got coffee and was pleased. I will try the food next time.

The coffee is the best, bar none! We buy the whole beans, and grind them ourselves. Dunn Bros roasts the beans in house, bag them up and date them. That way you know you're buying fresh roasted beans. Plus, I love it's cozy, friendly atmosphere.

Awesome place, friendly workers, and a decent price. You can always find seating even though there are almost always a few groups of customers around. Their cold press coffee is one of the tastiest I've had.

Service took 15+ min though there was only one in line ahead of me. Latte tasted awful, like it was burnt and milk tasted not frothed at all. I gave exact change to get a $5 back, but the cashier missed a dime and rather than double check or ask, gave me change and $4 and when I questioned said if I had a dime he would fix it and then gave me another dollar instead of exchanging for a $5. All around a disappointment. But free WiFi so I could get work done.

Best Coffee In Jefferson City! Your nose jumps to attention when you walk in the door, the sophisticated aromas of fresh beans cooking in the roaster entice you to move in closer, the thought of a steaming cup of fresh java not too far distant in your mind.

Fresh muffins and other baked goods stare at you from under glass, tempting you to accompany your hot mug with a delightful pastry, while heartier senses compete with a breakfast burrito or english muffin with sausage and cheese.

Comfortable chairs and amply sized tables round out an egalitarian atmosphere, where attentive staff and good Internet offer a pleasant break from one's daily affairs, comfort fashioned with a bit more flavorful type of grind.

Enjoy your stay. Chat, read, relax, and think, all in the upscale, newer part of town that is Edgewood Boulevard.

Decent coffee experience. I take a star away for it being a franchise and not an original/local establishment. The coffee was good but not memorable. Points for having their roster on site and batches of fresh beans for sale.

I was able to speak with the roaster (stepson of the owner), and he was friendly. I did not find much on where the beans were sourced or if they champion direct trade or fair trading with coffee farmers.

My drink: I ordered a Shot in the Dark (aka Depth Charge on their menu). I had a friendly chat with the barista about the name of the drink and what it's been called in other shops that I've frequented. The drink itself was largely forgettable. The coffee was nothing special and there was no depth in flavor with the double espresso shot. Good, not great, and I'll take a star away for that. The menu looked decent, but no pronounce slow bar. The benefits of a slow bar in a roastery worth its salt, is that a slow bar coaxes all the flavors out of the coffee as possible. This often requires the shop to be meticulous about the beans they're roasting and the flavors they are producing.

The feel of the shop, was obvious. The only thing that set it apart from a SBUX was the roaster and bags of green beans in the shop. I'd take a star away, but I like the flare of having the roaster on site and up front. Kudos.

Good coffee joint, in a pinch, however there are better options locally.

Great drinks, good pricing, and no burnt crema. I wish they were open later. I used go there to do homework before night school but the wifi always goes out (on my tablet and laptop), so now I just go expecting that. I like their chai, and they have a delicious drink I would really recommend if I could remember its name. Something like chocolate nirvana, I think.

The product is just good. My wife waited 30 minutes for two lattes, and only received one. Previous visits have been similar. The staff seems indifferent at best about their job or their customers.
