Main Street Coffee House

Best place to get coffee in Independence, Missouri. The only reason I'd go to another coffee place is if I wasn't within a days drive. Has a great atmosphere and the workers there are super friendly.

After a very long day of trying to purchase a vehicle, my wife and I took a break to walk around Independence and decided to stop in for a drink. The ladies working at the time were welcoming and inviting to their shop. We didn't know what their menu consisted of, but they generously walked us through all their options as well as their favorites. Everything was super delicious. I would recommend anyone looking for a good coffee and a nice place to relax. They also have a local soda that is super tasty.

Great little coffee joint in historic downtown Independence, MO. I moved to the area just a few months ago and was so pleased to find a local coffee shop with good brew and just a stone's throw from where I live. They've got a HAPPY HOUR, too! Double stamps on your "frequent flyer" card. Cool spot. Looking forward to regularly doing business here. Stop in and have a drink if you're nearby.

Great local coffee shop. Support local merchants on the square. It's better than the chains shops. Friendly staff and a more local scene. Very nice selection of baked goods to get your morning started our for an afternoon treat. Take the time and enjoy your coffee in a real ceramic cup instead of paper or styrofoam.

Good atmosphere. Nice staff. Tasty food. Decent WiFi. Cool customers. Perfect hours. Great location. Impressive pricing. Come to drink and dine, stay to chat. Acceptable music volume level. Has a smoking area and restrooms are sometimes locked, so one may need their key. I suggest that people check this place out.

The only independent and eclectic coffee house in Independence, this is a small but comfortable hole-in-the-wall kinda place that has a ton of character, and the ambiance is fine too. It has a small deck out back; the coffee is superb, but I've not yet eaten there so I cannot comment on that part. A must-visit.

My boyfriend and I came here on our first date and had our first kiss just outside of the coffee house. It's such a chill place and it feels like a second home to me, honestly. We still come here every single chance we get and the employees are so nice! They have food for people with all kinds of dietary needs including sugar free/vegetarian/vegan and it's the best place on the square in my opinion.

Great selection of drinks, and they always seem to be adding new ones. Prices are very reasonable for the great quality coffee and generous sandwiches. Barista's are always friendly, and happy to answer questions. The interior is very up to date, with a warm cozy feel.

This quaint little front used to conceal a wonderful lively coffee house with great atmosphere and well crafted cups of coffee goodness, with a wide variety of flavors, and staff picks for some added personality. It since has been replaced with starch white accents on droll beige. Staff is still friendly and helpful.. But it's missing it's cozy inviting quirk.

Visited today after being out of the area for sometime and certainly was not disappointed! Great service, by professional, personable, and friendly staff! So pleased they have diary alternatives for the blended coffee drinks. Great relaxing atmosphere with music and art! So glad to have this in our historical Independence community!
