Other Trails - Coffee & Goods

What an adorable place. We came in through the back where they have a shaded garden area perfect for sitting and enjoying a coffee, and on the inside it's got a very rustic, modern aesthetic that I personally love. I ordered a s'mores latte and the owner made it perfectly for me, with a good amount of sweetness and foam. It was one of those lucky finds as we were looking for coffee nearly half an hour away and saw this. Just wanted to share my thoughts and hopefully influence someone else to stop here!

A cozy little shop with good coffee and pastries. It gets a little too cozy if more than 20 people visit at once.

Absolutely incredible. The location is gorgeous, the baked goods are TO DIE FOR, the gentleman who helped me, who I assume us the owner, was so kind! Of course, the coffee was fantastic too (so much so, I got 2 while I was there lol!)

Had an excellent experience. I had the iced tea and it was great. The facility was clean and pleasing to the eye. The staff was nice and our order was completed quickly. If you are in Excelsior Springs MO. take the time get a drink and relax at the shop.

Would recommend again and again — sugar free caramel latte with oat milk was SUPERB! 🤤 We stopped in this morning to grab a latte from a local coffee shop before exploring the town a bit. It was quiet upon entry into a quaint and well renovated space! We had the opportunity to chat with the owners some — they are the sweetest people! We learned they have only been open for two weeks now (as of Halloween) and talked a bit about the machine and process of how they got started. For a small, local shop, they had a good variety and selection of coffees, sugar free syrups and dairy alternative! If we are EVER back in Excelsior Springs, this will be one of our first stops! Thank you for this adorable space and wonderful coffee — wishing you such success! 🤩

This place is what a coffee shop should be... warm ambiance, welcoming and friendly owners, soft instrumental music, and great coffee. They have done an amazing job of renovating one of Excelsior's historic buildings into a quaint spot for both locals and tourists to enjoy. Their dark roast coffee was excellent, and so was the overnight soaked oats and the peanut butter ooey gooey bar. I highly recommend this place.

So excited to have a cool coffee shop in Excelsior! The owner is very nice and has always been very friendly. My “control” drink for every coffee shop I visit is a vanilla latte - the latte here was very good. Definitely good place to go get some work done!

Great place! I get coffee here almost three times a week. The service is excellent and the Granny Gear iced or hot is my personal favorite. If you're downtown you absolutely have to stop at Other Trails!

This place is amazing, I got at least once a week. The trail cookies are to die for!

Other Trails has very quickly become “our local coffee shop”. Saying that it seems like I would be biased. But it has only become our spot because the coffee is so great, the people so inviting, and the environment is so comfortable. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!
