Went for the tenderloin they didn't order the meat. Asked for chicken wings no chicken wings either ordered Reuben got a scrap from pan of beef pieces and mix with a little corn beef.Watch the ketchup in the squeeze bottles old or really cut rate.

Small town Cafe with great staff and service. Haven't had a meal yet that didn't love. If you are in the area and don't stop you are missing out. Thank you Paulas.

Stopped for lunch between KC and Omaha. Little hometown cafe full of old west memorabilia and features John Wayne. The 3 of us ordered the Friday special, catfish and wedge cut fries, Next hamburger with homemade fries and 3rd a fried chicken wrap. 15 minutes later some of the best food came out of the kitchen- WOW!. Portions were enormous. Fish was an actual fish fillet, flaky, crisp and mildly seasoned. Hamburger was at least 1/3 pound, juicy and cooked perfectly. The wrap was loaded with chicken , full of fresh veggies and had a light sauce. Fries were good. Very reasonably priced. If you are ever around Craig, MO. drop in for lunch, you wont be disappointed.

This place was great! Went for breakfast, after thankfully, having horrible service, or basically none existent service, in mound city (Toad something), I found Paula's Cafe. I'm from Houston, TX, and can now say, not "everything is bigger in Texas!" I ordered the Hunters skillet and my girlfriend ordered an omelette. The portions were huge, and very fresh. Both dishes under $10. This place is a must! Will definitely go back when back in town! Well done!

***CASH ONLY, BUT WORTH IT****
My co-worker and I were told about this place by a friend, and are so glad we were! We work on the road and eat all over the country, but Paula's Cafe in Craig, MO is absolutely amazing. Both of us are big eaters, and of the 3 times we have been there, I've only been able to finish my food once. I've never had something there I didn't enjoy. The Tenderloin is HUGE! Almost big enough for 4 sandwiches. The burgers are at least a half pound if meat (but they have an option for 1lb patties as well), and always cooked perfectly. The Ruben Sandwich is loaded down with corned beef, kraut, and all the other stuff. Absolutely delicious. The staff has always been nice, and to top it off, every time I've been there, my tab was only like 10-15 bucks for what most restaurants would try to charge 20 or more. Not a place for small eaters, unless you enjoy leftovers.

Our crew is in town working on the local ethanol plant in Craig, and we discovered Paula’s cafe. It’s probably the best kept secret in northwest Missouri as far as cafe’s are concerned! Have eaten there several times, and have enjoyed everything I’ve ordered! Extremely fair prices, very generous portion sizes and very friendly staff! If you’re coming from Nebraska to Missouri on I29 or visa versa around lunch time I would highly recommend stopping in! Once this job is over and we go home, I’ll be returning with my family!

Food so Midwestern you can't help feeling at home. We got the chicken club and it was a bit messy, but delicious!
